Citronella

Lemon Balm

Lemon balm, also called the beebalm, is another good natural mosquito repellent. It contains citronellal, which gives the herb the lemony flavor. Mosquitoes and bugs find the strong aroma of the herb unpleasant.

Catnip

Catnip extracts are found to be 10 times more useful than DEET as an insect repellent. It is an ingredient in most of the commercially available insect repellents.

Lavender
