Clove oil is considered as an effective remedy for treating a cracked tooth. Dab clove oil using cotton on the cracked tooth. This remedy helps in fixing up the pain caused due to a broken tooth. The eugenol found in clove oil helps in lessening the tooth pain. You can even put a thick paste of cloves or its juice extracted on the broken tooth to get relieved from the pain. Follow this remedy until you get relieved from the pain.
Garlic works amazingly in treating the pain caused due to a cracked tooth. The antibiotic and the medicinal compounds such as allicin in garlic helps in releasing an enzyme that helps in reducing the pain caused due to a cracked or broken tooth. Spit it out later. Alternatively, you can dab cotton in diluted apple cider vinegar solution and place it on your cracked tooth. This remedy helps in providing an instant relief from pain and inflammation.
Rinsing your mouth using peppermint tea is an excellent way to provide temporary relief from the pain caused due to a broken or cracked tooth. Use cold or warm peppermint tea to gargle.
Tea tree oil helps in lessening the pain caused due to the broken tooth. However, use diluted tea tree oil. Dab the cotton immersed in diluted tea tree oil and apply it on your cracked tooth. You can even use this solution to rinse your mouth. This remedy works great in providing a temporary relief from a toothache caused due to the cracked tooth.
Asafetida works well in treating severe toothaches as well as bleeding gums. Add a pinch of asafetida to lemon juice. Dab cotton in this mixture and apply it on the affected tooth to get relieved from the pain caused by the cracked tooth.
