Indian Gooseberry

Indian gooseberry, also known as amla, helps in improving the functioning of the digestive tract, making its utility in increasing a diminished appetite. Loaded with vitamin C, amla boosts the immune system and facilitates mineral absorption, both of which are essential in case of nutritional deficiencies. Make a powder of indian gooseberry and add a dash of lemon juice and honey. Make a broth with water and drink on a regular basis, for best results.

Oranges

This juicy fruit is power packed with vitamin C and dietary fiber, which boosts up the appetite. It can be consumed directly or its juice can be prepared. For best results, it should be consumed twice a day.

Black pepper

Black pepper has been used as a remedy to help relieve the loss of appetite for over a few centuries. It basically stimulates the taste buds, treats gastrointestinal problems and thereby improves digestion and increases appetite. Take some ground black pepper and jaggery. Roll the powder in the jiggery to mask its taste and consume it regularly for a few days.

Dandelion Root

Dandelion root is known to regulate appetite by enhancing gastrointestinal secretions and aiding digestion. It is boiled with water to prepare dandelion root tea. A dash of honey or sugar can be added to enhance the taste of the decoction.

Fennel

Fennel or saunf are natural appetite boosters and aid in digestion. Often eaten after a full meal, it promotes gastrointestinal health. Fennel can be boiled with water to make a sweet-smelling decoction or it can even be eaten raw. Consume it regularly to reap its benefits.

Ginger

Ginger has proven to be excellent for relieving indigestion and stimulating appetite.it can be consumed by boiling with water for some time. Milk and sugar can be added to suit one’s tastes.

Tamarind

Tamarind is known to possess excellent carminative and laxative properties, which in turn helps in improving appetite. Soften tamarind with water to form its pulp and ass sugar and clove. Drink this potion regularly.

Coriander

Coriander juice has been found to aid in the secretion of gastric juices that is beneficial in improving the appetite. Take coriander leaves and extract its juice. For taste purposes, a dash of salt and lemon juice can also be added. Alternatively, it can added to Indian curries as well.

Alfalfa

Alfalfa is a nutraceutical that works as a great appetite stimulant and natural blood cleanser. Since it is high in fiber content, it acts as a diuretic and cleans up the system very well. Also rich in a lot of vitamins and nutrients, Alfalfa is excellent for overall health. It can be consumed by boiling with water to make its tea or tincture and taken twice a day.

Lemon

Lemon is found to be a natural appetite booster and it helps in regulating appetite and enhancing digestion. It can be taken as lemonade which is prepared by squeezing fresh lime and adding sugar and a pinch of salt. Alternatively, some honey and ginger can also be added. Cardamom or as it is popularly known as elaichi, is an excellent tonic to regulate appetite. It is excellent for relieving indigestion and shows tremendous improvement in appetite by stimulating the secretion of digestive juices. To reap this pod’s benefits, it can be added to tea and consumed.

Pomegranate juice

Cinnamon
