Most people are not even aware of the many beneficial ingredients in the kitchen that double as natural pain killers.

So Here Are Some Quick And Effectual Ones That Really Work-

Ice

You probably don’t even think of this one but ice is one of the best pain killers that you can get from the kitchen. Made with just water, this pain killer is indeed a blessing for people suffering from external pain and swelling associated with other arthritis or due to an injury. Just take some ice and then rub it on the affected area. Do this for about 5 minutes and repeat as required.

Turmeric

Another simple ingredient from the kitchen that is highly effective in reducing inflammation and getting rid of pain. Turmeric can be consumed internally. Just drink up one glass of warm milk mixed with 1 big spoon of turmeric to reduce swelling and inflammation. You can also heat up turmeric and apply on the swollen area to get rid of pain.

Garlic

A quick natural solution for dealing with pain, especially in the joints and related areas of the body would be to swallow a clove of garlic. Every morning, when you wake up, just swallow a clove of garlic with water. You can also add raw garlic to your diet or apply the juice of the same on the affected area.

Ginger

Ginger is highly suggested for its many benefits associated with reducing pain and inflammation in the body. Just chew on some raw ginger or make a tea using the same. Drink this 2-3 times a day to reduce pain of the joints, muscles, etc.

Mustard Oil

Along with the sharp taste, mustard oil is also highly recommended for reducing your overall pain in the body. A massage using hot mustard oil is suggested when you are suffering from soreness or pain due to muscle ache, etc. You can also heat garlic cloves in mustard oil and then apply the same for pain relief.

Apple cider vinegar is another natural painkiller from the kitchen. It is known for balancing ph levels in the body. Often, stomach pain is associated with imbalance in acidity and alkaline levels. Drink 1 cup of water mixed with 2 spoon of apple cider vinegar for getting rid of this pain.

Mint Leaves

Mint leaves are known to reduce pain in the joints along with pain caused because of soreness in the body. Make a fresh tea by boiling mint leaves in a cup of water and then add honey to the same. Drink this every day for getting rid of pains associated with the same.

Flaxseeds

If you are suffering from pain because of weight gain, especially soreness in the breasts during pregnancy then chew on 1 spoon of flaxseeds. The enzymes found in the seed release natural juices that helps in reducing inflammation and helps the muscle to relax.

Cranberry Juice

Often the cause of acute stomach pains is because of bad eating habits or even constipation. Drink up a glass of cranberry juice that flushes out toxins from the body and is known to receive other digestive problems too – thus receiving the body of pain.

Carom Seeds

Carom seeds are a highly suggested alternative for all kinds of pain, be it in the stomach, muscles or even due to inflammation. You should just take a pinch of carom seeds from the kitchen and chew them lightly along with some warm milk.

Tea

Having a pain in your head and feels that your muscles are giving away. The tea found in tannins are known to be highly beneficial in the same. Drink up a cup of hot tea, preferably with ginger or other spices that reduce pain.

Salt
