But in a  lot of cases, digestion issues arise because of medicines, lifestyle changes, bad eating habits, etc. As a result, problems like gas, bloating, constipation, stomach upset, etc. happen. Instead of running for the medicine bottle, try out these 20 remedies to improve digestion naturally.

Do Gentle Walking Post Meals

Walking after meals are known to boost digestion and enhance secretion of digestive juices. Gentle walking helps in improving circulation in the body and is known to boost your overall digestive functions and reduces the problem of bloating and gas.

Drink 10-12 Glasses of Water

People who drink at least 10-12 glasses of water are known for better digestive systems as compared to people who don’t. Water helps in providing fluids to the digestive organs for faster functions. But avoid drinking too much water during meals.

Eat A Banana Everyday

High fibre bananas are a great remedy to boost your digestion. Ripe bananas are high on fibre and water content too that ease your bowel moments and facilitate better digestive functions. Ideally have the same every morning  on empty stomach.

Have Warm Water Post Meals

Having warm water post every meal is suggested to give your digestive system a kick. Warm water helps in better circulation and secretion of the bile juices, which are known for boosting your overall digestion and flush out toxins.
