Here Are Some Of The Different Methods For Flushing Out Uric Acid Crystals From The Joints

Alkaline Diet

Uric acid crystals are formed when either your body produces excess uric acid or when excretion of uric acid slows down. An acidic diet is usually blamed for increasing the uric acid level in the body, which can be countered by adding alkaline food to the diet. Foods that create alkaline by-products include green leafy vegetables, cucumber, okra, pumpkin, carrots, yam, cabbage, mushroom, garlic, basil, green onion and olive oil. Vitamin C rich foods such as lemons, pineapple and tomato, although rich in acidic content, produces alkaline byproducts. Hence, you can add them to your alkaline diet.

Tart Cherry

Studies have shown that consuming 10 to 20 cherries a day helps in improving the symptoms of gout. Anthocyanins, the constituents of cherry that are responsible for its bright color, help in reducing the uric acid level in the body, thereby preventing uric acid buildup in the joints.

Baking Soda

The alkaline baking soda helps in dissolving the uric acid crystals. By restoring the natural pH balance of the body, it helps in lowering the uric acid level in the body. Add half a teaspoon of baking soda to a glass of water and drink two to four glasses of the baking soda solution daily.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Malic acid present in apple cider vinegar helps in dissolving the uric acid crystals. Moreover, the detoxification property of apple cider vinegar helps in eliminating the excess uric acid from the body. Apple cider vinegar also helps in restoring the natural pH balance of the body. Mix half to two tablespoons of of acid cider vinegar with a glass of water and drink it daily to get rid of the uric acid crystals.
