Puffy bags under eye are caused because of stress, lack of sleep and in some cases exposure to too much climate extremes or even eating sour foods. Nevertheless, there are some easy and quick home remedies available for treating the issue of puffy eye bags.
Just freeze two spoons in the deep freezer, preferably the steel ones as they hold on to the cold for longer. Then close your eyes and lie down. Apply the same over the eyes and relax for a while. The cold spoons will help in getting rid of these eye bags soon.
Take a couple of tea bags and then freeze them in the refrigerator or at least get them to a cold temperature. Now, you have to just take these tea bags and place them over the eyes. Let them stay for about 10 minutes as the tannins in the tea leaves get to action and reduce your bags.
You can mix some normal cold water with rose water and splash the eyes with the same. Alternatively, you can also dip some cotton balls in cold rose water and then apply it over the same. Keep eyes closed and relax when doing the same.
Take a couple of slices of cucumber which can be either room temperature or even cold. You have to just cover your eyes and lie down as you relax and place cucumber over the eyes. Doing so helps in absorbing the puffiness while helping your bags go away.
For making this remedy you need to separate the egg yolk from the white, when done, whip the same very stiffly. You can aadd a few drops of witch hazel oil to the same that is also known for reducing puffiness and the eye bags that form underneath the eyes. Now, apply the same using your clean fingers or even a gentle brush. Once the egg white is dry and hard, use a cold damp cloth or wet tissue to wipe the eyes. You can also splash cold water over the same to get rid of these bags.
