Bananas And Almonds

Bananas are shown to counter the effects of the helicobacter pylori bacteria that cause peptic ulcer. Alternatively, almonds are high in protein and can help in getting rid of excess acid in the stomach and is shown to be beneficial.

Wood Apple Leaves

Drinking the juice of wood apple leaves which has been soaked in 250 ml of water overnight has brought relief to some. Also, the consumption of lime juice which has Vitamin C has shown to improve digestion. One can also boil 250 mg of cabbage in 500 ml of water and drink it after it becomes half the quantity of 125 ml. of carrot juice can be added to it when it cools to counteract the strong smell of the cabbage.

Drumstick

10gms of drumstick ground to a paste and mixed with half a cup of yoghurt can also work wonders. 300 ml of carrot juice with 200ml of spinach juice or 100 ml each of cucumber and beet juice drunk daily is also good for peptic ulcers.

German Chamomile Tea

Drink one cup of German Chamomile tea which has flavonoids three or four times a day for relief. This tea is known to be anti spasmodic, and anti-inflammatory .It is also mucilage, which gives relief to the mucous membrane.

Consume Right Foods

One should take care to avoid spicy food like hot sauce, pizza and fried food. Even ice cream and milk should be avoided as these cause more acid to be created in the stomach and worsens the condition of the ulcers.
