Aloe Vera

It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It not only reduces scar, but also improves your skin texture. Take an aloe vera leaf and peel off the outer green cover. Scoop out the fluid. Apply this fluid on the scars and leave it for 30 minutes. Now, wash it off. Apply aloe vera twice daily for best results.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can help lighten the scars. The vitamin E, an antioxidant, in coconut oil promotes healing of damaged skin. Take coconut oil in a liquid state. Take the warm oil and massage it onto the affected area for 5 minutes. Leave it on for at least 15-20 minutes. Then wash it off the face. Repeat 2 to 4 times a day, for better results.

Lemon

Lemon contains vitamin C which rebuilds collagen, helping in skin repair. Also, the acid in it helps to lighten the scars. Take a fresh lemon and squeeze out its juice. Apply this juice on the affected area. Wait for 10 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. Repeat twice daily for effective results.

Honey

Its antiseptic effects, are effective in scar removal and it also moisturizes the skin to make it soft. Apply honey on the scars and leave it overnight. Wash off in the morning. You’ll see the scars fading in a few days.

Cocoa Butter

Its moisturising property softens the scar and it is also rich in Vitamin E which aids in skin repair. Take some cocoa butter and massage it using firm, circular motions on the affected area. Leave it for about 10 minutes and then wash it off. Repeat 3 times a day for several weeks.
