Every woman suffers from split ends at some point of time. Definitely, there are ways to deal with split ends, but before going to that stage, it is important to first understand the causes for split ends. Split ends occur when the hair cuticles that protect the hair is washed away and leads to the weakness of the hair fibers due to lack of oil in the hair or the oil not being able to reach the tip of the hair.
At this point, the hair slowly begins to develop into split ends. Dry scalp, lack of nutrition, chemical treatments like hair coloring, brushing often, applying heat like hair dryers or ironing are also the reasons for split ends. Some herbal remedies for split ends are discussed below.
Chamomile is known to possess soothing qualities and acts as a great herbal remedy to treat split ends by repairing the hair, and tames frizzy hair, which lead to split ends.
Prepare some chamomile tea in a pot and rinse the hair with it before a hair wash. You can use as much of chamomile tea you desire. Allow this to set in for some time and then you wash your hair normally using a shampoo followed by a conditioner.
