Polyp is regarded as an abnormal growth of tissues. The tissues project from a mucous membrane. The condition can usually be categorized as colon polyps, stomach polyps, nasal polyps, uterine and gall bladder polyps and sinus polyps. Pedunculated polyps (with stalk like protrusion of tissues) are less dangerous than sessile polyps (do not have any stalk).

Effective Herbs For Polyps

Goldenseal

Goldenseal is a well known herb that helps to reduce the risks of polyps by curing the symptoms like diarrhea and bleeding. Goldenseal helps in preventing and curing a person from nasal polyps.

It is one of the best herbs for polyps and to reduce inflammation as well. Take a cup full of strong Goldenseal tea regularly as a dosage for the condition to get better. 2 grams of the herb should be enough for 1 cup of tea.

Flax Plant

The flax plant is known for its useful oil that is used for many medicinal purposes. Practitioners recommend the flaxseed oil to patients suffering from heart diseases, cholesterol problems, blood pressure problems and polyps.

The plant has anti-carcinogenic properties which have acids that protect the tissues against colon polyps and also cure the affected areas. Take around 1 tablespoon full of flaxseed oil regularly with your meals. Take the dose at least two times a day for best results and continue taking the treatment until the cancer is gone.

Onion

The juice of white onions can be very beneficial for uterine polyps. Try not to use the purple or red onions for treatment. You will have to get around 3 to 4 medium sized white onions and boil them all with two to three cups full of pure water.

Let them boil for five to ten minutes before you put them down to cool. Now you can add anything you like in the soup and have it at least half an hour before lunch or dinner.

Parsley

Parsley is beneficial for all kinds of polyps. It is used in cooking for the overall well being of the body. Parsley is one of the best herbs for polyps, indigestion, intestinal gas, colic, etc. It also helps in bladder infection and is highly recommended to patients of uterine or gallbladder polyps.

Take around 6 to 7 grams of dried parsley leaves and garnish your meals with them regularly. Take the dose until the polyps symptoms do not disappear permanently.

Holy Basil

Just like Parsley, Holy Basil tea is beneficial in treating all kinds of polyps. The herb is among the best herbs for polyps, skin diseases, internal bleedings, injuries to the skin, cough, colds and flu, etc. The herb has to be consumed every morning before eating anything.

The patients need to pluck seven to eight leaves of the herb early in the morning and chew it raw then drink clean water. You can also prepare tea out of the herb and have once a day for best results.
