Share

Do you often have headaches, stuffy nose or do you often sneeze? Well, all these can be symptoms of allergy. Allergy is a disorder in which your immune system responds to some normal, non-dangerous things such as pollens, animal dandruff, dust, etc.

Not only environmental factors, but a person can be allergic to food elements also. When you are subjected to an allergen, your immune system considers it to be a foreign material that is not good for your body.

As a result, your system produces antibodies which activate mast cells. These cells open up, flooding your body with histamines. This histamine is responsible for showing up allergic reactions such as rashes, inflammation, headache, watery eyes, stuffy nose, etc. Allergies can be mild as well as severe. In order to get rid of the problem, it is advised to use home remedies at the very first step. Let us discuss some of the effective remedies to overcome the problem.

To keep your linen clean, it is important to wash it in water that is at least 130 degrees Fahrenheit. This would kill dust mites and clean any of their traces. If you plan to go out then make a point of keeping your nose and mouth covered with a cloth. This would avoid inhalation of allergens such as dust and pollens.

This results in breathing issues and coughing. You can overcome the situation by taking ginger. It would soothe the airway, causing it to relax and get back to it’s original shape.
