Cystitis is a condition where the urinary bladder gets swollen. Spinach And Coconut Water
We are aware that diuretics are important to treat such problems. The abundance of nitrates and potassium present in spinach and coconut water serve as diuretics and help in getting relief from this condition. All you need to do is blend equal portions of coconut water and spinach juice and drink it every day.
Doing this regularly has been proven beneficial in the treatment of interstitial cystitis. Alternatively, drinking the juice extracted from drumstick flowers infused with coconut water on a daily basis acts as a diuretic and helps in treating this condition. This is a great home remedy and one tablespoon needs to be taken two times every day.
Cucumber
Cucumber is a wonder food and is used to combat a variety of ailments including interstitial cystitis. It is enriched with vitamins and minerals that are necessary for fighting and controlling this condition.
A few pieces of cucumber must be crushed and made into a juice. This must be combined with honey (1 tablespoon) and lemon juice. Drinking this mixture is very effective in the treatment of interstitial cystitis. It should be consumed three to four times every day for better results.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is an easily available ingredient in the kitchen and is quite effective in treating interstitial cystitis. Add a tsp of baking soda to water, stir well and drink it. Doing this regularly will decrease the acidity of urine and reduces irritation in the bladder lining.
Externally baking soda could be used by soaking in a bathwater to which baking soda is added. This helps in reducing the bladder or the abdominal pain and helps the muscles relax.
Lemon
