Most home solutions for blackheads help in unclogging the pores and cleaning the skin – thus eliminating the conditions that can trigger the appearance of blackheads. For best results, one can effectively use the following homemade treatments listed below.


Orange Peel

To remove blackheads one can simply grate orange peels and mix it with a few tablespoon of yogurt. Apply the paste onto the blackheads using gentle circular motions for approximately five minutes before washing it off with tepid water. This helps in unclogging and exfoliating the pores.


Green Tea

Steep a green teabag into warm water. Cut open the teabag and then use the tea from it an exfoliating face scrub. The rich antioxidants help in exfoliating the skin and making it blackhead-free.


Tea Tree Oil

To remove blackheads, dab a cotton ball in the oil and apply it on the area. Leave it on for a few minutes before washing it off with water and gentle cleanser. After you have washed off the oil from the skin, apply an oil-free moisturizer to nourish the skin.


Tomato Lemon Mask

Considered one of the best eliminators of blackheads, one can make the mask by blending tomato, lemon juice, and oatmeal.Apply the smooth puree over your clean face while concentrating onto the problem area. Leave the mask on the face for approximately 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.


Oatmeal Mask

Like tomato lemon mask, oatmeal mask is known to sooth the skin and remove the blackheads. To make the mask, mix oatmeal with aloe vera gel and baking soda.Make a smooth paste and then apply the mask for five minutes. Wash the mask off with warm water.


Egg Whites

Loosen the blackheads with egg whites. For best result, mix egg white with corn flour and gently apply it on with wet hands. Massage the mix gently into the problem areas and leave it on for 30 minutes. After the time is over, wash it off with warm water.


Potato

Most kitchen cabinets have potatoes but rarely did we know that potatoes can help in clearing the skin. To eliminate blackheads, grate potatoes and use it on the blackheads.Leave it on for five minutes before washing it off with cool water. Done on a regular basis, helps in effectively eliminating blackheads from the face.


Vinegar And Lemon Juice

Mix both the ingredients and soak a cotton pad and apply it on the affected area for at least twice on a daily basis. After five minutes, wash it off with cold water and follow it with an oil-free moisturizer. Repeat the routine on a regular basis to get rid of the blackheads.


Cornmeal

To make a cornmeal scrub that eliminates blackheads, one can mix cornmeal with water to make a thick paste that can be applied with your fingertips. Repeating the exfoliating routine can help in eliminating your blackhead problems effectively.


Salt

Blackheads can be removed with salt combining Epson salt and Iodine. Mix the two salts with boiling water and use it a facial scrub for your blackhead problems. Alternatively, one can simply dab a cotton call and apply the mixture on the problem areas for effective results.
