Holy Basil

Generally a decoction of basil leaves is prepared by boiling it in 500 ml water and reducing it to half its quantity. For lowering body temperature, the juice of the leaves can be extracted and given to the patient every couple of hours.

Triphala

Red Sage

This herb is one of the best herbal remedies for Septicemia in Chinese medicine. Tanshinone a derivative of Danshen is very effective in reversing the lethal effects of Septicemia. Inflammation is the body’s natural response to infections. But uncontrolled inflammation leads to organ damage and eventually death.

Tanshinones are capable of inhibiting the release of a certain DNA protein that causes inflammation and successfully prevents organs from being damaged due to Septicemia. The intake of this herb is strictly prescribed by a medical practitioner.

Neem

Loaded with anti-microbial properties, Neem or Nimba is a commonly use herbal treatment for Septicemia.
