People who do not fancy the taste can have it cooked instead of in the raw form.


Chili Pepper

Chili Pepper contains capsaicin which makes the body produce heat for a short while. It helps to breakdown carbohydrates from the food after having a meal and hence may be used to regulate the blood sugar levels.

The alkaloid contents of chili pepper help in the digestion process. Consumption of chili pepper increases the metabolic rate of the body. It can be had with food or in food products such as sauces etc.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar works as a weight loss aid as it is said to prolong the sensation of satiation after eating. However, eat the right food along with it, have it in limited quantities and mix the vinegar with water.

The fiber content in pomegranate along vitamin B5 (Pantothenic acid) which produces, releases and transports energy from fats helps in losing weight. Pomegranate also contains vitamin C, potassium and natural phenols.


Cabbage

Cabbage has fewer calories, low fat and is a powerful vegetable for weight loss. Cabbage contains glucosinolates which act as metabolic detoxicants.

It provides roughage and slows down the conversion of food into fats. It can be had in many form like raw in the form of a salad, cooked by sautéing, steaming or in the form of a soup. It is a dieter’s delight.


Watermelon

Watermelons contain lycopene which makes them rich in anti oxidants. It contains about 92 % of water by weight and also vitamin C. It is a mild diuretic and contains large amount of beta carotene.

It is said to make the body use more calories during the digestion process. It hydrates your system, makes you feel full, flushes the toxins and hence it is a help in your weight loss effort.
