Appendix pain is the symptom of a major health problem Appendicitis. It occurs due to the blockage of the appendix opening as a consequence of which mucus begins to fill in which leads to inflammation. A number of reasons can result in appendix blockage such as trauma, poor digestion, intestinal worms, and in certain rare cases due to the presence of foreign bodies which have accommodated in the appendix.

Herbal Remedies For Appendix Pain
Lote Upas
A wildly growing herb, found mostly in forests of tropical regions; it belongs to the plant family Convolvulaceae and has leaves with pointed tips and flat edges – mostly dark green in colour.
It has anti-inflammatory properties and is also an effective pain reliever and laxative. To use this herb,use bulbs of 2 cm from the plant, wash and mash them, and them mix it with 2 tbsp sugar water. Squeeze and filter this mixture and take it two times a day.
Basella Rubra Linn
This is another wild growing herb, found 1-500 m over the sea level. It belongs to the Basellaceae family and their stems are branched, weak and soft.
Pharmaceutically, they are well known as highly capable detoxifiers and help remove foreign toxic substances from the body. It has a high vitamin A, B and C content and also contains other helpful nutrients.You can take 60-70 grams of herb, boil it with water, cool and drink it.
Alfalfa
Alfalfa belongs to the Fabaceae family and is widely grown as fodder for cattle and other livestock. It’s extremely rich in nutrition content and contains minerals, vitamin K, calcium, chlorophyll, etc.—compounds which greatly enrich one’s health.
It is mostly used to increase vitamin K intake and enrich the body’s nutrient content which may be lacking during a disease. Take a daily dosage of 500 to 1000 g in capsule form or 1 to 2 ml of the tincture, depending on your consultant’s recommendations.
Buckthorn
A petite deciduous shrub that belongs to the Rhamnaceae family, these are dark green in colour and shiny. They also produce pea shaped and sized blackberries and have long been in use as a medicinal herb.
Buckthorn’s greatest usefulness in the case of appendicitis is due to the fact that it acts as a blood purifier. It also kills intestinal parasites and is a diuretic. Take 5 ml in tincture form daily at bedtime along with sufficient water.
Echinacea
It belongs to Asteraceae, the family of daisies. It is a common garden flower, also known as the Purple Coneflower. Its petals are shaped like a daisy’s; it has a spiked central portion; and it’s usually of the colour purple although new variations with yellow or white petals can be found too.
It is an amazing immune system booster and facilitates phagocytosis. Take ½ to 2 gms per day in tablet form or a cup of tea brewed from the ½ to 2 gms of the dried herb, thrice daily.
When these herbs are taken regularly in right amount of dose then they help to heal appendix inflammation and thus provide relief from pain.
