Hair loss, thinning and baldness are usually referred to as alopecia. Baldness is the loss of hair on the scalp. Sebum accumulation on scalp can be a reason for baldness. Aloe’s keratolic effect is useful to break down the sebum on the scalp. It eliminates dead skin and supports new hair growth. Aloe balances the pH of the scalp to the desirable level resulting in hair growth. It conditions the hair and keeps them moist. It could be used as shampoo for hair or aloe juice can be taken regularly.

Rosemary

Dried and fresh rosemary leaves can be used to treat baldness. It improves the nutrient supply to hair follicles by opening up the clogged follicles. It has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Take dried rosemary leaves and use them as a shampoo for treating hair loss. Take fresh leaves and stem. Put them in a container and leave it overnight or for some time before using them. The leaves and stem will dry to some extent so that you can use them.

Take some dried leaves in a container and pour grape seed oil over the leaves until they are immersed completely. Use iron container to avoid chemical reactions.  Heat the mixture for three hours by keeping it inside a larger vessel containing water.  The oil will be infused with rosemary.  Strain the oil and cool it. Massage your scalp before having a shower to treat baldness and control hair loss.

Licorice

Licorice has been used for treating hair loss and baldness problem in both men and women. It is the best natural remedy for hair care. Take licorice roots and cut them into small pieces. Add it to one glass of water and boil it for 20 minutes.

Strain the solution and drink the tea to treat hair related problems and increase hair growth. It has a minty flavor that stimulates hair growth. This is very effective for people having slower hair growth rate. Licorice extract can be used for scalp treatments. It soothes the scalp and opens the pores resulting in more hair growth. Licorice is a natural elixir for scalp.

Ginkgo

It has a positive effect on hair growth. It reduces hair thinning and promotes hair growth. Consuming ginkgo tea can be beneficial for treating baldness. Take some ginkgo leaves in a bowl and add boiling water to it.

Allow it to soak for 10 minutes and strain the solution. Drink the tea to improve the blood circulation to the scalp, which increases hair growth. It prevents hair loss by nourishing the hair follicles thus strengthening the hair follicles.

Sage

Sage has compounds that promote thick and strong hair. It makes the hair shining and prevents hair loss. It is a natural hair tonic. It has astringent as well as anti-microbial properties. It opens up the clogged hair follicles and encourages the growth of new hair. Use sage as a shampoo to rinse the hair.

You can also drink sage tea to boost hair growth. Massage the scalp with sage tincture to reduce thinning of hair. Infuse water by adding sage leaves to it and boil it. Use this to rinse the hair. You can also use sage essential oil to prepare this hair rinse. You can add rosemary along with sage for preparing the natural hair rinse.

This herb was for long used to cure problems related to the urinary-system. However, due to the presence of high silica content, it is increasingly used in several hair care products. Horsetail is an ideal herb to stimulate hair growth. It can be used to fight pattern baldness.
