Ginger
Another herb found in mostly all Indian homes is highly effective in eradicating the ache. Ideally it is used for curing nausea and giddiness; It gives immense relief in pain that arise from stomach disorders or cramps. The best way of consuming ginger to provide relief in the cramps and spasms is by preparing a concoction of ginger root in two cups of water.
Consuming the tea after straining it is an excellent cure. Ginger can also be applied topically by grating it or grounding it into powder form. As it is a natural blood thinner, one must consult a practitioner before taking high doses.
Dipsacus
This herb is of Chinese origin and is very useful in curing all types of body pains however it’s a specialist for back pains. This herb can be taken orally and can be used as topical salvations as well. This herb helps in relieving weakness and stiffness and the pain as well by improvising blood circulation.
Cayenne Pepper
This is an ancient herb and used as a spice as well. Ideally it can be used topically to ease any kind of pain. It comprises of capsaicin that is used commercially in creams and lotions.
It stimulates the nerve endings and gets rid of the pain gradually. Caution should be administered so as to avoid its application on cracked skin or exposed sores.
Willow Bark
An age old remedy for reducing inflammation and acting as an analgesic in cases such as sore muscles or inflamed tendons or even bursitis.
Salicin is found in this herb that has similar properties like aspirin and is essentially used to get rid of any type of body ache, so it is best avoided by people who allergic to aspirin. The best way of consuming it is in the form of infusions.
