These wrinkles occur when then the tissues of the skin lose elasticity and collagen and deplete resulting in the formation of creases or lined and saggy skin. It tends to lose the moisture and becomes uneven and dull. In today’s modern era, there are many cosmetics available which are very unreliable and unsafe. Herbal Remedies For Eye Wrinkles

Lavender

This aromatic herb with soothing properties is also very effective for removing wrinkles around the eyes. They need to be added to coriander and anise seeds in equal proportions and put to boil and its steam should be given on the face for about 20 minutes, every day. One can perform this procedure only after consulting the doctor.


Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is an ancient herb that is useful in the treatment of a gamut of skin ailments primarily eye wrinkles. Its scaly stem consists of polysaccharides that are imperative in repair of sagged or wrinkled skin.

It works as a moisturizer that can reduce the dryness and prevent the eyes wrinkles from occurring. This is known to be most effective when the cause of the wrinkles is the ultra violet rays of the sun.


Witch Hazel

This herb is popular for its astringent properties that can be effective in preventing the skin from sagging and getting wrinkled as it tones the skin very well. This herb, grows perennially, is a well-known astringent used to tone up sagging skin and reduce eye wrinkles.

It grows perennially and originates from Europe and North America. Medicines can be formed from witch Hazel’s leaves and the bark as well. It is used to tighten the loose skin around the eyes when taken in the form of either tinctures or teas. Commercially this herb is used in cosmetics.


Horse Chestnut

This herb grows in the form of tall tree. It is also famous as Buckeye, as it resembles the male deer’s eyes. One can create herbal preparations by using the bark of this tree.

The antioxidant nature rejuvenates the loose skin and tightens it, and as this herb is an astringent, it also acts as a toner. Salves and creams and lotion can be prepared commercially from horse chestnut.


Acerola

Another name for acerola is Antilles Cherry and originates from various parts of Europe and America.This herb is a storehouse of vitamin C, which is the key ingredient to get rid of eyes wrinkles.

Not only this, it is an antioxidant that breathes life into the sagging skin by protecting the cells from getting damaged by the free radicals. It is compulsory to test the herb for any kind of allergic reaction before using it as it can have adverse reactions on some.
