The two drugs that are approved by FDA for hair growth are Minoxidila and Propecia that give results but they have some side-effects. Herbal remedies are the best way to grow hair as they are herbal and safe to use. The results are faster with the use of herbal remedies. There are several herbal hair loss solutions available in the market in various forms and you have to choose among them according to the condition of your hair loss.

Algae

The extracts of algae are used in many medicines, supplements, skin care and in fertilizers. Seaweeds like Atlantic kelp, elongate contain amino acids, essential minerals and vitamins and they acts as anti-oxidants that help in growth of hair and cure the damages of the scalp and hair.


Aloe Vera

The herb Aloe Vera has a very good anti-inory aflammatnd anti-oxidant property. When the scalp is massaged with the aloe Vera gel then it restores the PH balance and moisture of the scalp and hair. The hair growth increases with the use of aloe Vera.


Channelled Wrack

The channeled wrack is the extract of seaweed known as phaeophyta.The component of phaeophyta contains isoflavones which helps to rejuvenate the skin of the scalp which increases the hair growth. The hair thickness also increases with the application of channeled wrack extract. It has testosterone binding factors that prevent the hair loss in women.


Dong Quai

The dong quai has a compound known as phytoestrogens which diminishes the development of DHT and prevents the hair loss and increases growth of hair. It is a Chinese herb.


Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo biloba herb helps to regulate the blood circulation to the cells of scalp. If the blood circulation is consistent and regular to the scalp then the loss of hair decreases and re-growth of hair increases. Due to proper blood circulation the nutrients reaches the follicles of hair when required and chances of hair loss reduces.


Green Tea

The green tea helps to prevent the baldness in men. The green tea contains catechins which withdraws the production of the enzyme 5 alpha reductase.The green tea can be taken three to four times a day. It is available in the form of capsules as well. You can take one capsule a day to prevent the hair loss.


He Shou Wu

He Shou Wu is a Chinese herb that is used for the prevention of hair loss and baldness. The He Shou Wu is available in tea and capsule form. This herb restores the hair color and help in the growth of terminal hair in place of vellus hair.


Horsetail

The horsetail contains a good amount of silica that repairs the connecting tissues of the skin, revitalizes the hair and fuels the hair growth.

Pygeum

Dihydrotestosterone is the active metabolite of testosterone that is formed initially in the prostate gland then in the hair follicles. Saw palmetto acts as a natural DHT blocker and the helps in the hair growth.


Stinging Nettle

The men faces problem of hair loss and baldness due to the conversion of testosterone into DHT.This herb blocks the process of this conversion and helps in hair growth. It is available in the form of capsule with other combination of saw palmetto or pygeum.These combinations give better result than the use of single herb.


Panax Ginseng

The Panax ginseng increases the vascular circulation and the metabolism of the brain cells is regulated with the use of this herb. This herb is available in several forms like hair shampoo, tonic, capsule etc.The strength and thickness of the hair also increases by using Panax Ginseng.


Onion

Onion can be used externally for hair growth. Onion has high amount of sulphur in it which has healing properties and helps the scalp in hair growth. The peeled and half onion can be rubbed on the bald area of the head before washing it.


Capsicum

Capsicum moves the blood to the scalp and when the blood circulation is proper on the head then hair will grow. This herb also releases histamines that is known for the re-growth of hair.


Rosemary

Rosemary helps to increase the blood circulation and the hair regrowth increases. The rosemary can be used for hair growth by applying the rosemary oil on the scalp or rosemary tea can be taken to prevent the hair loss due to any kind of chemotherapy.


Chamomile

Chamomile herb is effective for the treatment of hair loss if the hair loss is due to the inflammation of the scalp. It reduces the inflammation of the scalp. Chamomile can be used as an infusion or you can simply have chamomile tea after washing your hair. The flowers of chamomile are very good for the growth of hair and the roots of the hair get strengthened with the use of chamomile.
