Mint

Strain and drink this tea to get relief from the symptoms of hyperacidity. This drink can be taken by both the adults and the children. Drink a cup of mint tea three to four times to get relief. Mint leaves are also available in various flavours. You can try them as well.
Dill
This herb is generally used to make pickles but it has other uses as well. It has soothing properties that can be beneficial. Take 1 teaspoon of dill seed and add it to 1 cup of boiling water. Steep for five to six minutes and drink this tea to get relief from stomach cramps and other hyperacidity syndromes. There is no use of crushing the seeds before making the tea. Like mint tea, dill tea can also be given to children. Drink 1-2 cups daily.
Fennel or Black Pepper
Fennel tea is also an effective herbal remedy for hyperacidity. Take about a teaspoon of fennel seeds and crush them. Add this teaspoon of crushed seed to a cup of boiling water and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Strain and drink this tea while you relax.
You can also whole seeds if you want, but steep longer in that case. Fennel is naturally sweet and can be added to other herbal teas as well. Even black pepper is effective in the treatment of hyperacidity.
Chamomile or Clove
Chamomile tea is also effective in treating hyperacidity. Take few dried chamomile flowers. Also, take a cup of water and bring it to boil. Add the flowers and steep for few minutes.
Strain and drink this herbal tea four to five times to get relief. You can add honey to enhance the taste. It is mild and has a nice flavour that makes it a favourite amongst many. Eating a clove daily can keep your digestive system healthy.
Lemon Balm or Amla
This herb is known to soothe the digestive system. Taking only a few sips will make you feel better. Take a few dried lemon balm leaves and add them to a cup containing boiling water. Simmer for some time. Strain and drink this tea to get relief from symptoms of hyperacidity and indigestion. Drink about three to four cups.
Amla can also be taken to cure the symptoms of hyperacidity. Avoid spicy food and maintain a healthy diet. Drink plenty of water during short intervals that washes away the toxic materials from the stomach and keeps you free from acidity.
