Ginger

Ginger is anti-inflammatory in nature so it is an effective cure for inflammation.

The herb ginger is easily available and you can take it in the form of ginger tea and infusion . Ginger oil can be used topically on the inflammated skin.

Garlic

Garlic is used as an ingredient in making food in almost every kitchen. The anti-inflammatory properties of garlic help to decrease the inflammation. There is no risk involved in taking garlic.

Garlic is also available in the form of garlic pearls and pickle. You can crush a few cloves of garlic and can apply them on the inflammated skin. By doing this the allicin of garlic will spread on the skin and will cure the inflammation.

Celery

Celery seeds should be boiled in water for 15 minutes and then strained. The remaining water should be consumed daily to get rid of the inflammation.

Devil’s Claw

Devil’s Claw is available in the form of dried powder and pill. This herb prevents the inflammation and helps to relieve the pain associated with inflammation.

Black Cohosh

Black cohosh is a very good herb for the treatment of inflammation. The black cohosh can be taken in the form of tea. This has to be taken for a period of two-three weeks.

Andiroba

The herb Andiroba is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids which helps to heal the skin and slow down the growth of cells that are responsible for inflammation.

The oil can be extracted from the bark of andiroba and can be used for the massage of the inflammated area.

Gilead Populus

This herb is the native of North America. The balsamic oil that is extracted from the leaves of this herb is used for the massage of the inflammated skin. This herb should be used externally only.

It is not recommended for the person sensitive to the drug aspirin as the sticky resin of the buds of this herb has salicin in it which converts into aspirin.

Cat’s Claw

The bark of this herb is very good for the treatment of inflammatory arthritis. This herb contains alkaloids which helps to build the strength of the immune system and fights with the bacteria causing inflammation.

This herb is available in the form of tea, tincture and cream. If you want to brew the tea of this herb then add lemon to it.
