Pineapple

This is one of the most useful fruit herbs, which can be used for the remedy of the insect bites. It works wonders to reduce the swelling, which is caused due to the insect bite.

Bromelain is the major constituent of this herb, which has a lot of beneficial properties. The infected person should consume the bromelain supplements of this herb for at least three times daily on an empty stomach.


Calendula

The person who is infected with insect bite should apply the paste of this herb directly over the infected area. It will definitely result to give a great relaxation and reduce the swelling and itching as well.

This herb also acts like an antiseptic. Thus, it helps a lot to prevent the infections caused by the stings of the insect. You should take care to apply the proper amount of paste of this herb over the spot in order to avoid any other further effect.


Tea Tree

The oil of this herb is extremely beneficial for getting relief from the itching and swelling caused by the bite. Take care to consume only the required amount over the spot throughout the day. The use of oil may also cause skin irritation, and if such occurs, then try for another remedy.


Lavender

Lavender is anti-inflammatory and antiseptic in nature. Thus, in order to get relief from the itching and swelling due to the sting of insect bites, you may prefer to apply the oil of this herb over the infected spot.

It should be practiced for several times a day as required. You need to take care to apply it after every fifteen minute.


Comfrey

The tinctures of this herb are applied over the infected spot for the relief from the pain and swelling caused by insect bite. You may prefer to have this herb in the form of tea. It will help you to reduce the irritation and will give a better feeling after disinfecting the bite spot well.


Plantain

This is much easier for the remedy against the insect bite. The patient may directly pick the leaf of this herb and chew it up. The pain relieving compounds are activated as soon as the saliva gets mixed with the juice of this leaf.

You may also prefer to apply directly the paste of this herb over the bite spot for instant relief. The infected spot should be bandaged and kept until it falls naturally.


Echinacea

This is another wonderful herb, which could be used for getting relief from the pain and inflammation caused by insect bite. It is directly applied over the spot in the form of paste for instant relief.

This herb also helps to disinfect the bite spot. You will definitely feel a great relaxation within few minutes after the use of this herb.
