Paraesthesia, a nervous disorder is basically associated with some kind of abnormal feelings on the skin. The numbness can come and go but lead to serious troubles if not treated properly. Allopathic medicines are available but it is always advisable to go for natural or herbal treatments as these do not have any side effects and can treat this disease from the root and also prevents its occurrence.

It can be seen in people who have already suffered a haemorrhage, strokes and even common ailments like dehydration, diabetes and migraine. Few of the effective herbal remedies for paraesthesia are:

Burdock Root

This herb can be taken for the treatment of any kind of pain in the joints as this herb contains essential fatty acids. This herb is rich in vitamin B1 also known as thiamine and is a very effective herbal remedy for paraesthesia.

Burdock root can be taken by adding them in stir fried dishes or in the form of a decoction. Take 2-3 tbsp of this herb and add it to boiling water. Simmer for some time. Strain and drink. Burdock root in capsule forms are also available.

Nettle Root

The leaves and the root of this herb are used in the manufacture of various medicines. Several studies have shown that nettle root extract had positive effect on treating the symptoms of disease like paraesthesia.

In fact, this root has worked better than a certain medicine in few of the cases. This herb is rich in vitamin B complex and hence can reduce the tingling numbness. Make herbal tea using dried nettle root extract to get relief. Drinking this tea 2 times daily for about a month or so can really helpful.

Hops Or Motherwort

Hops as an herb is often used to get relief from stress and anxiety. It is high in vitamin B6 and also in the other vitamin Bs. It is also an antiseptic and can be used to treat paraesthesia effectively.

Motherwort is also a useful herb that can cure various nervous disorders. It lowers blood pressure and blood sugar levels which are few of the causes of this disease.

Fennel

Fennel tea is also an effective remedy for treating paraesthesia. Take about a teaspoon of fennel seeds and crush them. Add this teaspoon of crushed seed to a cup of boiling water and simmer for 5-6 minutes.

Strain and drink this tea while you relax. You can also whole seeds if you want, but steep longer in that case. Fennel is naturally sweet and can be added to other herbal teas as well. Fennel does not treat hyperesthesia directly but reduces anxiety and its causes to a great extent which prevent paraesthesia.

Catnip

Catnip is also a very effective herb that can cure various nervous disorders. It is a member of the mint family and can give relief from stress and anxiety. It is also rich in all kinds vitamin Bs deficiency of which can lead to paraesthesia.

Catnip can be taken in a herbal tea form to keep the CNS strong and to make the reflex actions work properly.These herbal remedies for paraesthesia is really beneficial and have been proved to give results.
