Premature ejaculation, as the name suggests, is the name given to the condition when a man has no control on the ejaculation of sperms during intercourse. Usually a couple of minutes after penetration is considered to be the normal timing for an ejaculation, but if the man ejaculates immediately after penetration or before penetration, the condition is called premature ejaculation.

The causes of premature ejaculation can be stress, anger, depression, fear and other psychological conditions, engaging in sexual intercourse after a long time or cholesterol deposits in the sexual organs like penis and also the reproductive system of men. The symptoms of this condition are lack of pleasure derived from intercourse, premature ejaculation with no or less control, which can lead to the person feeling embarrassed or frustrated and guilty. The following are the herbal remedies for premature ejaculation.

Best Herbal Remedies For Premature Ejaculation

Angelica

Also known as Chinese Angelica, this herb is used extensively to treat conditions like premature ejaculation. Most parts of the plant like the fruits, the root and the seeds are used to treat this ailment.

The root of the Angelica herb can be boiled and a cup of this drink can be drunk every 5 hours. About 9-12 grams of Angelica is the recommended dosage. In case of capsules, patients should take about 1000mg at an interval of 4-5 hours.

Schizandra

This berry was once a favourite with the Chinese royalty, and when consumed can be one of the many herbal remedies for premature ejaculation. It is an excellent tonic to cure sexual inadequacies.

Almost as respected as Ginseng, this herb is also known as Gomishi, Omija etc. it can be consumed with food or as a tincture. The Schizandra berries can also be consumed with teas. The fruits in the powdered form can be consumed with food in the dosage of 1-3 grams daily.

Psoralea

To increase sexual health and provide energy to men, this herb is used extensively. Also known as a yang tonic, Psoralea, is noted to be able to cure premature ejaculation.

It is a native herb of West Asia; and the seeds of the Psoralea plant are used for medication. It is sweet and is known to strengthen Yang. It is generally prescribed in the dosage of 6-10 grams twice daily.

Ashwagandha

This ancient Ayurvedic herb is also known as Withania Somnifera. Ashwagandha is bitter in taste and is warm in nature. It is also known to be a nervine tonic and is hence used for its aphrodisiac properties.

The most important part of the plant is the root which contains medicinal properties. Ashwagandha can be consumed in the dosage of 3-6 grams everyday orally or in the form of a tea. The tincture can be taken 2-3 ml thrice daily.

Country Mallow

Predominantly an Ayurvedic medicine, Country Mallow or the Bala plant is also known as Sida cordifolia. This plant has been used for aphrodisiac action and to treat premature ejaculation, the juice of the entire plant can be consumed.

Mostly the roots and the seeds are used as medicines, and in the plant in powder form can be consumed in the dose of 1-3 grams. The oil of this plant can also be applied locally on the penis to cure premature ejaculation.

These are the most common herbs which are used as herbal remedies for premature ejaculation. Other than these herbs, some other examples can be Cuscuta, Gambih, Mineral pitch and many more.
