Back pain
is the pain in the back which originates from the muscles, nerves, bones and joints in the spine. It can be mild or chronic, constant or recurrent, only in one area of the back or moves to other parts of the back also. Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper contains a chemical known as capsaicin which helps to get rid of the pain. This substance is found as a component in many pharmaceutical topical analgesics also.

It can be used in the form of a commercial cream or you can rub the mashed pepper on the painful area or mix it with any other cold cream before applying it. Wash your hands properly after applying these combinations.


Cramp Bark

Cramp Bark is an antispasmodic herb and it contains compounds like esouletin and scopoletin which helps to relax the muscles. It is recommended to use this herb in the form of tincture rather than tea .The tincture should be taken every three hours to get relief.


Black Haw

Black haw contains compounds salicosides and scopletin that have similar properties as aspirin. So you can take this herb safely in the form of tablets, tincture or tea.


Willow Bark

This herb is an ancient herb that was used by the Greeks for the treatment of pain. The main constituent of this herb is saliacin which helps to give relief from pain in any part of the body. It has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce any kind of swelling in the painful area.


Peppermint (Menthe piperita)

Peppermint contains menthol and camphor that eases pain and muscle tighthness.You can take this herb in raw or supplement form or as a peppermint tea.


Ginger

Ginger has around 12 anti-inflammatory compounds and it has the same effects as the aspirin. It is one of the best pain medicines taken in Arab countries. Ginger can be taken in raw or supplement form. You can also take it in the form of tea or as an infusion.


Rosemary

The main constituents of this herb are carnosol, oleanolic acid, rosmarinic acid and ursolic acid. All these compounds have anti-inflammatory properties. You can take this herb in the form of tea or infusion.


Angelica

Angelica herb has anti-inflammatory, anodyne and antispasmodic properties which help to get rid of the back pain. Take it in the form of infusion or tea. The recommended dosage of this herb is to take it in the form of infusion or tea thrice a day.
