A skin tag is also known as Acrochordon . It is an extension of the skin in the form of a protrusion from a particular surface of the skin. These are benign or non- cancerous tumours that can erupt within skin folded areas such as armpits, neck, eyelids ,under the breasts or even in sensitive areas such as the groins.
They are simply painless and non-threatening so people generally do not remove it unless their sizes become huge or their appearance becomes ugly. The big ones require surgery while the smaller ones are made to disappear with the help of herbal remedies. These might be time-consuming but they are very effective in removing the tag.
