To prepare the tea just add about one tablespoon of  dried leaves and roots to a cup of water and allow it to remain like that for about eight hours and then filter it. It is advised to drink about two to four cups per day to get relief from pain.

2. Couch Grass

Couch grass is a commonly found herb. This herb contains volatile oil, polysaccharides, mucilage and many other nutrients. This herb helps in increasing the production of urine and also works on infections caused in the urinary tract such as urethritis and cystitis.

This herb helps in getting rid of the kidney stones. Couch grass is also effective in the treatment of prostate that is enlarged. The root of this herb can be roasted well and ground to make it a powder and can be used as a substitute for coffee. This herb possesses antibacterial, diuretic and demulcent qualities, which are greatly beneficial in treating kidney infections.

Uva Ursi is commonly referred to as bearberry and is a native European herb. This herb contains tannins, hydroquinones, falavanoids and phenolic glycosides. It is an exceptional urinary antiseptic.

Bearberry is mainly used to treat kidney infections by acting as a disinfectant and astringent. It also possesses antibacterial qualities, which greatly help in treating kidney infections.

4. Burdock Root And Alfalfa
