Almonds

Soak almonds at night. On the next day, peel them. Grind in a blender by adding some warm milk, ginger and nutmeg. If you take this drink at the bedtime, you will feel relaxed.


Baking Soda

Add equal amounts of baking soda as well as ginger to the warm tub water with which you are going to have bath. Soak in the tub for fifteen minutes. This remedy will give you relief from anxiety as well as tension.


Oil Massage

Oil massage helps in eliminating the anxiety. You can use sesame, sunflower and coconut oils. Heat the oil slightly so that it is warm. Massage the body, scalp and feet with this oil before having a bath and at bedtime. Use a rolling pin for massaging the feet bottom.


Celery

Mix celery and onions. Take two cups of this mixture with the meals. The mixture can be raw or cooked. Celery and onions contain potassium as well as folic acid, which help in decreasing nervousness.


Orange Peel

Inhale the aroma of a peeled orange. You can also cook the peel with water by simmering it. On heating, the orange peel gives out fragrance, which is very good for anxiety.


Orange Juice

Mix some honey and one pinch nutmeg in orange juice. Drink the juice. The juice is very beneficial if you have anxiety along with a racing heart.


Rosemary Tea

You can make a rosemary tea by mixing one teaspoon of dry rosemary with boiling water. Let it steep for ten minutes. If you drink this tea, it will calm the nerves. You can also inhale rosemary by burning a rosemary sprig or using its incense.


Relaxation Room

If you are stressed due to work, you must use a relaxation room. The room should not have bright lights, articles of technology and other things that may distract you like photos and clutter. The room should not contain anything that awakens you and makes you feel uncomfortable. If you want to be free of anxiety, use the relaxation room for half an hour daily.


Drinking Water

You must drink extra water to eliminate anxiety symptoms. It helps in controlling the manner in which you feel the anxiety. Drinking water makes it easy to cope with anxiety.


Exercise

Exercise is the best home remedy for anxiety. Exercise is beneficial for physical health as well as mental health. Exercise helps in regulating the hormones that lead to anxiety. It also controls stress hormones.


Vitamins

You can eliminate anxiety by taking vitamins. The main cause of anxiety is a deficiency of magnesium. Therefore, you must take magnesium. Some other vitamins for anxiety are Vitamin B12 and B1. Take foods that contain these vitamins or take supplements.

Use of technology can be beneficial if you have anxiety along with panic disorders. You must see TV programs that include laughter and make the audience laugh. Another use of technology is to keep the lights on. These remedies will keep you away from nagging thoughts.
