Sweating is a way by which the body regulates the temperature. A lot of people use different types of deodorant and anti-perspirants to prevent the excessive sweat and bad odor .Some people do not consider them as the safest option so they opt for home remedies which will reduce the bad odor.

Before using any home remedy, you should try to know the reason for excessive sweat as if the reason is clear then only you can give the right treatment. The possible causes of excessive sweat are family history, any hormonal imbalance or medical issues. In rare cases, the excessive sweat is due to over activity of sweat glands and in this case medicine or surgery has to be done as it is not curable with home remedies. Proper Hygiene

Lack of hygiene is another factor responsible for excessive sweat. Practice proper hygiene by shaving and trimming your armpits. Do not go out before taking a bath with lots of water and a deodorant soap. After taking a bath, dry your whole body with a soft towel and use an antiperspirant.

Make sure to take a bath before going for a any other important meeting, personal date and after working out in a gym. By maintaining proper hygiene and living in a clean enevironment will reduce the amount of sweat that comes out from your body.


Sage Leaf

Sage herb is one of the common herbs that comes under spices and is available in your kitchen. It is a natural perspirant. Now the question is how to use sage to prevent excessive sweating. The answer is you can apply the essential oils of sage directly on your underarms or can drink sage tea. It contains phenol acids and anti-bacterial components which will help to decrease the odor coming out of the underarm sweat.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a very good home remedy as it is easy to use. Just rub aa small amount of apple cider vinegar in your underarms before sleeping at night and all sweat will dry. Wash your underarms the next morning properly while taking a bath and apply any deodorant. All bacteria that are responsible for the sweat and odor will dry up due to the acidic nature of apple cider vinegar.


Baking Soda

Baking soda is an odor neutralizer which is used by a lot of people to combat with the refrigerator odor due to kitchen material. Baking soda is known as sodium bicarbonate which is a combination of calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, ammonia, carbon dioxide and water. Now to use it to fight with excessive sweating of underarms you have to make a mixture of baking soda with the cornstarch in equal ratio. To give it a pleasing fragrance, you can put a few drops of essential oil of your fragrance into it.

Now apply this mixture on your underarms. It is recommended to use anti-bacterial essential oils in it like lavender oil or tea tree oil as the underarm sweat comes from bacteria and anti-bacterial nature of the essential oil will stop further growth of bacteria and odor will go away. This remedy will not reduce the amount of sweat but it will help a lot to reduce the bad odor coming out of the sweat. Some people are allergic to lavender oil so it is better to go for a skin test prior to using this oil in the mixture.


Margosa

Margosa is the other name of neem which is used extensively in different ailments. The leaves, nuts, twigs and bark are used for the treatment. It helps to cure the unpleasant odor that comes out of underarm due to sweating. Neem has anti-bacterial and antifungal properties and it moisturizes and regenerates the skin.

The antibacterial properties of neem stop the growth of bacteria responsible for the generation of sweat and unpleasant odor. One of the components of the name known as azadirachtin destroys the bacteria in the cell walls. You can use neem by adding few leaves of neem into boiling water and washing your underarms with this water before you go out. A neem pastes can also be applied before taking a bath and wash it properly at the time of your bath.


Wheatgrass Juice

Wheatgrass juice helps to reduce the amount of sweat in the underarms. It is a humble weed that contains lots of nutrients and vitamins that are good for the proper functioning of different glands. The high concentration of chlorophyll, enzymes and vitamins in the fresh juice of wheatgrass gives relief from excessive sweat. So drink a glass of wheatgrass juice every day in the morning to keep yourself away from excessive sweat.


Lime Juice And Tomato Juice

Lime juice and tomato juice are very good to get rid of excessive sweating. All you need to do is to take a lemon and cut into two pieces. Now before going to bed, put one part on ne underarm and another on the other underarm. After doing this every night, the amount of sweat will start decreasing.

Tomatoes are also very effective. Fresh tomato juice when taken every day will give good results. Do not drink canned tomato juices as they contain more concentrated sugar than the real juice .The sweating will start reducing with the regular intake of tomato juice and the application of lime on underarms.


Change Your Diet

Some people who used to eat more of oily and spicy food have more sweat in underarms than those who eat fresh fruits,green vegetables .This is due to the fact that caffeinetd drnks ,garlic,onion and soicy and oily food increases the circulation of blood flow and triggers yhe sweat gkands to sweat more.

So fight with this type of sweat by just changing your diet.Cool down thee temperature of your body with the increased intake of water.Go for fibrous foods like whole grain bread,oats and other fortified cereals as they promotes the digestive heakth and gives you relief from bad odor and excessive sweat.
