Laxatives are the types of drugs, composites or foods that are able to induce the bowel movements. It may be consumed in suppository form. The natural laxatives include fruits and vegetables.

It should be cared not to use it in high dosage otherwise it may cause diarrhea. Those with food supplements which constitute laxative properties may be used to improve their effectiveness

Castor Oil

One of the most excellent recognized natural laxatives is castor oil. You may prefer to have one teaspoon of castor oil in the early morning. This is the best way ever possible to promote easier bowel movements and thus to treat the constipation as well.


Honey

Another wonderful natural laxative is honey which could be easily available to you. To consume it, you may mix one teaspoon of honey to a glass of boiled/warm water. Now the patient needs to have it for at least twice a day.

You may also consume it along with the lemon juice when your stomach empty. This will definitely give you a good relief from constipation. Lemon itself could also be squeezed in a glass of boiled/warm water, & you can drink it to get an effective result.


Corn Syrup

You may also prefer to have corn syrup in order to get rid of the disease as soon as possible. To have it, you may add corn syrup (one teaspoon) to a glass of water. This works wonders for laxative. It also acts a colon cleanser.


Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is also another effective laxative which could be used to get relief of constipation. The patient needs to have the juice of aloe vera twice a day. It could be taken once during morning time and the other in the evening.


Bael Fruit

Bael fruit is also categorized among the best laxatives. You may either consume it in the form of the extracted juice or just the fruit itself. Take care that it should be the ripe one.


Bran Cereals

Bran cereals are also known to be the best among all and constitute the effective laxative properties. You may either consume it in the early morning breakfast or as an evening bite. This works wonder to get rid of constipation.


Fruit Juices

Some of the specific fruits like papaya, pear, apple, banana, fig and avocado are the amazing laxatives if consumed in the form of juice. Sometimes it also works as a colon cleanser.

Cranberry or prune juice may also be consumed as a morning breakfast accompaniment to get relief from the constipation. A mixture of carrot juice, tomato juice and sauerkraut juice also works great if taken at least thrice a day.


Date Pulp

The patient may also go for the use of the date pulp. It could be consumed by soaking the pulp in one glass of water before two days of use. On the next morning of use, you can mash the dates and remove the pulp completely to have it for at least three times a day.
