When the pimples become inflamed, it will leave a mark. The pimple mark occurs when the pimples do not heal. Pimple marks occur in the form of lesion or cyst. The pimple is filled with oil, skin cells and microorganisms. When the pimple breaks, it causes harm to the surrounding healthy skin and leaves a mark or scar behind. Pimple mark can make the face unattractive. It is not easy to avoid pimple marks. Mostly, teenagers and people who are above twenty years old are affected by pimple marks.

If you have pimples, you should not touch, scratch or break them as it can cause pimple marks. You must use natural remedies for removing the pimple marks, as the natural ingredients of these remedies do not cause any damage to the skin. It is very difficult to remove a pimple mark. However, some home remedies can help in healing and removing the pimple marks. You must try the following home remedies for pimple marks.


Useful Home Remedies For Pimple Marks


Lemon Juice

Lemon juice lightens the pimple marks and fades them away. Clean the affected skin with hot water. Dip cotton in lemon juice and apply on the pimple marks. Rinse the face after ten minutes. You can mix cucumber and honey with the lemon juice. People who have oily skin should not mix cucumber and honey with the lemon juice. You can also mix pomegranate powder with the lemon juice.

Lemon juice contains citric acid and many other ingredients that help in curing pimple marks. It contains Vitamin C, which makes the skin glowing. Vitamin C disinfects the skin by eliminating the bacteria responsible for pimple formation. Lemon juice can cause photo sensitivity  Therefore, if you use lemon juice on the pimple marks, apply a sunscreen when you have to go out in the sun. You should not use lemon juice if you have stinging and redness.


Sandalwood

Mix little sandalwood powder with rosewater. Apply this paste on the affected skin like a mask. Wash the face after one hour. You can leave the mask overnight and wash the face the next morning. You can use sandalwood essential oil instead of powder.

Mix sandalwood essential oil and rosewater in a ratio of one part to ten parts. Wash the face after six hours. Sandalwood soothes and cools the skin. It is an effective remedy for pimple marks.


Gram Flour

Mix gram flour with little turmeric powder. Add few drops of lemon juice to this. Add some curd to this and make a paste. Apply this paste on the pimple marks. Wash the face after ten minutes. This is one of the best home remedies for pimple marks.


Turmeric Powder

Mix turmeric powder to little milk. Apply this mixture on the pimple mark. Wash off after fifteen minutes with cold water. Use this paste daily.


Baking Soda

Use baking soda for exfoliating the skin. Mix little baking soda with double amount of water. Apply the mixture on the pimple mark with a rubbing movement. Massage the skin gently. Rinse after one minute.

It is important to use a moisturizer after this. You can massage the face with olive oil. Olive oil contains ingredients that moisturize and soften the skin.


Egg White

Beat the white portion of the egg so that it is fluffy. Dip cotton in this and apply it on the pimple marks. You can also apply egg white on the pimple marks with your fingers. Let the egg white become dry. Wash the face with lukewarm water. You can also leave the egg white on the skin overnight.

Wash the face on the next morning. The egg white contains proteins as well as amino acids. Due to this, the egg white helps in tightening the skin pores due to which new pimple breakout do not occur. It also helps in lightening and healing the existing pimple marks.


Use Oil Free Makeup Products

Use oil free moisturizers, foundation and other products for makeup. Choose non-greasy products. If you have sensitive skin, you should use makeup products that are labeled as sensitive skin products. You can also use medicated products.

Vitamin C

Eat fruits that contain Vitamin C. You can also apply puree of fruits like pineapple on the face. Wash the face after fifteen minutes.

The acid in the fruits will exfoliate the skin. The ascorbic acid in the fruit brightens the face and removes the pimple marks.


Honey

Apply honey on the face like a mask. Wash the face after 20 minutes. Then, apply lemon juice and leave it overnight. Wash the face on the next morning. Honey has antiseptic properties, which prevents bacterial growth and infection. It is an effective remedy for pimple marks.


Fenugreek

Grind fenugreek leaves with little water and make a paste. Apply this paste on the face like a mask. Add some fenugreek seeds to water and boil it.

Strain the solution and apply the liquid on pimple marks. It will help in reducing the marks.


Ice Pack

Fill a cloth bag with ice. Rub the ice pack on the pimple marks for fifteen minutes daily. Ice helps in decreasing the skin inflammation due to pimples. It makes the skin smooth and removes the pimple marks.


Vitamin E

Take steam on the face as it helps in opening the skin pores. Break a Vitamin E capsule to release its liquid. Apply this liquid on the pimple mark with the help of cotton. Leave the oil on the pimple mark. Wash the face after twenty minutes. If you want to use the Vitamin E liquid only on the pimple marks, you must take the liquid of two capsules.

However, if you want to apply the Vitamin E liquid on overall face, you must use four to five capsules. Vitamin E contains antioxidants, which is very good for the skin. Vitamin E removes the pimple marks and makes the skin soft and radiant.


Aloe Vera

Apply Aloe Vera juice on the pimple marks. Aloe Vera can heal the pimple marks. It also helps in fighting pimple breakouts.

Regular application of aloe vera juice can heal the pimple marks.


Mint

Mint has the property of fading scars and pimple marks. Extract mint juice by crushing mint leaves in a blender. Dip cotton in this juice and apply on the pimple marks.
