Home Remedies for Sinus

Sinus is a very miserable condition which makes you feel uneasy, can also lead to severe headache and vomiting. There are many natural and home remedies which may help get rid from sinus infections, pressure and sinus pain. These home remedies are natural and very effective in sinus.

Apple cider vinegar is very effective home remedy to cure sinus infection. Mix two spoons of apple cider vinegar in six ounces of water and drink this mixture three times a day. This will help to thin congested mucous and provides relief very soon. But remember to drink it with the first sign of sinus infection.


Home Remedies for Sinus

Steam

Steam inhaling steam 56 times a day is very helpful in sinus. Steam helps in reducing headache during sinus and helps remove mucous and provide relief. Take steam as many times as you can to get faster relief.


Grape Fruit Seed Extract

Grape fruit seed extract this is a natural antibiotic which will help in providing relief from sinus infections. You can buy it as a nasal spray which will help in losing out the thick mucous and also providing relief from pain.


Warm Compress

Warm compress helps in relieving pain faster. Place warm wash clothes around your cheeks, nose and forehead. This will help in reducing pain. If the cloth gets cold, then replace it with the fresh warm cloth.


Saline Rinse

Saline rinse this is also very effective home remedy for sinus and removing mucous. You can prepare saline mixture or even use distilled water for this. Take some water in a squeeze bottle and rinse it in your nostrils. This is little messy, but very effective. This process is also known as neti pot.


Garlic

Garlic is a natural antibiotic and antifungal. This helps in sinus infections and provide relief very soon. Take one or two finely chopped garlic cloves and eat it with your food.

Repeat this three times a day and you will result. Take this for seven days and you get relief from the infection.


Tulsi

Tulsi a natural herb which has antibiotic properties. To get relief from sinus pain, make paste of some tulsi leaves and mix it with honey. Take a spoon of this paste every morning and feel the change. This will help remove mucous and also give a soothing feel.


Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds are easily available in market. Boil them in a glass of water for about five minutes. Make the water to cool down until lukewarm. Drink this water daily to get relief from sinus. This is a very effective home remedy for sinus.


Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil is very effective in cold and cough. Inhaling eucalyptus oil provides relief from congestion and helps breathe better. You can take a bath in warm water having some leaves, also few drops of eucalyptus oil can be added to warm water.


Cinnamon

Cinnamon is very effective to reduce the headache during sinus. Take one spoon of cinnamon powder and make a paste with a spoon of water. Apply it on your forehead to get relief form headache. This is very effective home remedy.
