Sinus infections are very painful and terrible. They can cause headache, congestion, nausea and gums pain. This is called as sinusitis that can happen due to bacteria, fungal or virus infection. The infection resides under the bone gaps between eye brows, facial bones.

This blockage cause severe pain that is irresistible.  Several home remedies are very helpful in treating sinus infection and can help cure sinus very fast. These home remedies help you break the mucus and also fight with infection.

Steam

Inhaling steam is very helpful in sinus. Inhale steam for five minutes 7-8 times in a day. This will help in removing congestion and also provide in headache. Steam will reduce infections during sinus.


Garlic

Garlic in a very good antiseptic, which helps in curing sinus infections. Take two cloves of peeled garlic and eat it with water every morning. This will provide relief very soon.

Take 6-7 cloves of garlic and dip them in honey. Keep it covered overnight, this honey is very good in curing sinus infections. Eat one spoon of this honey several times in the day to get relief from severe pain.


Neti pot

Neti pot is very helpful in providing relief from congestion. Do neti pot every morning, this will help in throwing out the mucus and provide relief from sinus infections.


Ginger

Ginger is a natural root that is very good for our body. Ginger tea is good during sinus and it provides relief from sinus infection.

You can also do massage with ginger juice on your forehead. This will provide relief from severe headache.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Two spoons of apple cider vinegar in 8oz of water is a very good home remedy for sinus infection. Drink this solution two times a day to get the soothing sensation.


Sesame Oil

Sesame oil is very helpful in curing sinus infections. Apply some sesame oil on your forehead and on facial bones. Massage gently with your fingertips.

This will provide relief from pain and makes you feel better. Do this massage three times a day to get faster relief.


Steam Bath

Steam bath will soothe you and provide relief from congestion. Take steam bath preferably at night, this will help in sleeping and provide relief from pain.


Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil helps in removing congestion and helps breathe without any irritation. Inhale eucalyptus oil several times a day or you can also add few drops of this oil in warm water. This will make you feel better and provides relief.


Oregano Oil

Oregano oil is very effective during sinus. Put few drops of oregano oil under your tongue and after some time drink a cup of water. Do this two times a day to get instant relief. This will help in removing pain and also increase your appetite.


Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seed extracts pain from body and also cuts down the mucus. Take one spoon of seeds and let them boil in a cup of water for about five minutes.

Cool down this mixture until lukewarm. Drink this water three times a day to feel better.


Cinnamon Oil

Massage with cinnamon oil will help in reducing pain. Massage it gently on your forehead and facial bones to get relief from pain. You can also use cinnamon powder. Make a paste of cinnamon powder with little water and apply it on your forehead. This will equally work and helps in reducing sinus infections.
