7 Cure For Back Pain

A vast majority of world population suffers from back pain due to an array of reasons. It can be caused by lifting of heavy weights, undue pressure on the back and excessive strain on back.

Certain diseases like osteoporosis, bone tumors, obesity and arthritis are more serious factors that cause back pain. In general, if you are suffering from back pain, it means your back muscles either have some problem or have reached their maximum limit to perform efficiently. Following are some proven ways to relieve back pain naturally.


Natural Cure for Back Pain

Stretching Exercise

Doing gentle stretching exercise is one of the simplest yet very effective natural remedies for back pain. Lie down on your back on a flat surface. Bend your right leg from the knee and bring the knee as close to your chest as you comfortably can. Do it very slowly.

Stay in this position for ten to twenty seconds. Now, bring your leg down in its earlier position, again very slowly. Do the same thing with the left leg. Do five to six sets of this stretching exercise at least two times daily, once at bedtime and once before getting out of bed in the morning.


Cramp Bark Tea

Let one tsp. of cramp bark steep in one cup of boiling water for fifteen minutes. Sip the resulting herbal tea hot, at least 3 times daily. The cramp bark tea is a natural muscle relaxant and can be very beneficial in relieving back pain caused by overuse of muscles.


St. Johns Wort

Applying the extracts of st. johns wort to the affected areas on your back can provide you great relief. But, you must keep in mind that the application of st. johns wort can make your skin very sensitive to the sun. So, avoid direct exposure to sun while you are using this remedy.


Massage with Castor Oil

Massaging your back with castor oil can also be very effective in relieving back pain and inflammation.


Honey with Warm Water

Consuming one teaspoon of honey mixed in one cup of warm water is also an effective natural cure for back pain. You can use this simple remedy 3-4 times a day.


Coriander with Cuscus Grass

Mix one part of coriander, one part of cuscus grass and two parts of overnight soaked wheat in a bowl filled with milk. Boil the mixture over high heat until it gets reduced to 2/3rd of it original quantity.

When the mixture cools down, consume 2 tbsp. of it four times a day. It is a natural analgesic that can provide you great relief from back pain. As an added benefit, it also improves your digestive system.


Lifestyle Changes

– Avoid sitting or sleeping in one posture for long.
– Avoid using cushioned seats. Rest on plain and stiff mattress.
– Avoid sedentary lifestyle. If your job requires you to sit for long hours, you should stretch your whole body at least once every hour.
Bend your knees while picking something from ground to avoid excessive pressure on your back.

Overall, if you use the above remedies and take certain precautions, you can definitely get rid of back pain naturally.
