Eczema is a type of skin disease that can attack anyone whether he or she is child or aged. Causes of eczema can be many – infection, wrong types of diet, some imbalance inside the body, too much exposure in sun, water and toxin, lack of hygiene and many more things.

If you do not take the proper care of eczema, it will spread on the other parts of the body soon. Eczema prone body parts are hands, feet, in-between thighs, elbows, etc.

Infants also suffer from eczema that is often called as diaper rash. Flaky red skin accompanied by itching and burning sensation is result of eczema. This article will give you some tips on natural cure for eczema.

Tips To Cure Eczema Naturally

1. Everyday Wash And Maintain Hygiene

Everyday washing of your body is necessary to avoid eczema. Sometimes eczema occurs due to lack of hygiene. Wash your body everyday with plain water. Maintain the natural temperature of the water.

Too much hot or too much cold water is bad for eczema. Soap makes our body dry and aggravates eczema. So avoid the use of soap on your body. But if you have to use it to remove daily grease and dirt then use only mild liquid soap or baby soap.

They are less harmful. Medicated soaps are also available in the market but that should be used under the guidance of doctor. After washing, it is necessary to wipe your skin fully dry. Do not keep your skin wet. It may aggravate the condition.

2. Moisturize Your Body

After washing our body the skin gets dry and it enhances the itching sensation of the skin that is affected by the eczema. So massage a very light moisturizer on your body to avoid itching sensation.

But never apply thick moisturizer. Too much oiliness may make the condition worse. So it is better, mix few drops of water with the dollop of moisturizer and massages that on your skin. In air conditioned room our skin gets dry.

So if you have to spend time in air-conditioned room for a long time, then do not forget to apply diluted moisturizer over your body. If you are an inhabitant of dry whether area, then use humidifier inside the room.

3. Protect Your Skin From Direct Sunshine

Direct sunshine is bad for the skin. For this reason when you go out in the sun at daytime wear full sleeved clothes that will cover the maximum portion of the body. Apply sunscreen lotion all over your body before going outside. Use umbrella, hat and sunglasses to reduce the direct heat of the sun.

4. Coconut Oil

Pure coconut oil is excellent for the eczema prone skin. The thick coconut oil cures eczema naturally reducing the dryness of the skin. Massage pure coconut oil all over your body everyday and give special attention on eczema affected skin.

5. Camphor And Coconut Oil

You can also make special oil for eczema. Take a cup of coconut oil. Add a teaspoon of dust camphor. Mix everything and boil it for 10-15 minutes. Then preserve it in a glass bottle. Apply the oil on your eczema everyday and you will get relief.

6. Fenugreek Seed And Coconut Oil

Fenugreek seed also has antibacterial property and it kills the bacteria of eczema very effectively. So take some coconut oil and boil fenugreek seed in it.  Strain the oil and apply it on your skin. It helps to cure eczema effectively and quickly.

7. Special Oil

Take a cup of mustard oil or coconut oil. Add a teaspoon fenugreek seed, turmeric, few fresh neem leaves in the oil. Boil it and strain the special oil. Massage the oil all over the body everyday and you will get relief from eczema.

8. Turmeric And Neem Paste

Turmeric and neem paste is a good combination that cures eczema very effectively. Take a piece of raw turmeric, approximately 1 inch length and add 5-6 fresh neem leaves.

Grind everything into smooth paste. Apply that paste on your eczema everyday and wait till it gets dry. Then wash it with cold water. You will get benefit with everyday use.

9. Basil Leaves

Basil leaves also cure eczema effectively. Crush basil leaves and extract the juice. Apply the juice on eczema affected skin. You will get relief. You may mix honey with it. Honey is a sticky substance and it helps to hold basil juice effectively.

10. Aloevera

Aloevera is a good product that cures eczema effectively. Take one aloevera tube. Slit it and apply that on your skin. Use it everyday. Aloevera is a wonderful product that has power to heal all types of skin disease including the eczema.

You can also make aloevera oil. Mix aloevera gel and coconut oil and place it on low flame for an hour. Then strain the oil and apply it on the eczema.

11. Betel Leave

Burn betel leaves and preserve the ash. Mix few drops of mustard or coconut oil with the ash and apply the paste on eczema. This will help to cure eczema effectively and quickly.

12. Olive Oil And Almond Oil

Mix almond oil and olive oil into 1:1 ratio and massage that oil on your ski everyday. It will help to cure eczema very soon.

13. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a very effective thing to sooth dry skin and cure eczema. Soak some oatmeal in plain water or in chilled milk to get soft. Then apply the paste all over the body.

It will remove all types of dirt and grease without removing the natural oiliness of the skin. Clean your body with oatmeal at least once in a week and get rid of eczema.

14. Calendula oil And Tea Tree Oil

Calendula oil and tea tree oil very effective to cure eczema very effectively. They are available in pharmacy. Bring them and apply them on your eczema. You will get benefit. Lavender essential oil also has eczema healing power.

15. Sprinkle Powder On Baby’s Body

Some baby has eczema due to over use of diaper. Sprinkle powder on their skin before using diaper. Powder will help to keep his or her skin silky. Change diaper frequently to avoid rash.

16. Wear Cotton Cloth

Wear cotton cloth because cotton cloth helps in air circulation and keeps our body cool and dry. Artificial fiber resists air circulation and makes your body sweaty. So avoid and prevent eczema.

17. Stay Away From Allergic Food

Stay away from those foods that has chance to gear up allergy. Though any food can gear allergy, most common foods that triggers allergy are egg, prawn, crab, etc. before eating them be sure that you are not allergic to those foods.

There is nothing to worry. There are several ways with which you can keep your eczema under control naturally. But if the situation goes out of control take the advice of the physician.
