Pinworms are more common in young children, but even adults may suffer from them. Pinworm is an intestinal infection that is mainly caused by low hygiene. Squash Seeds

Smash 50g of squash seeds and mix it in one glass of hot water. Boil the mixture over low heat for fifteen minutes.

Then, put it in an air-tight container for two hours. Filter the decoction and consume it in two equal doses after your regular meals.

Raw Pumpkin Seeds

Mix some crushed pumpkin seeds (300g for adults, 45g for children) in one glass of water. Boil it over low heat for 30 minutes. Filter the liquid, and once it cools down, consume one tbsp. of the solution every fifteen minutes. After you consume it all, wait for 2 hours. Then, consume a bowl of warm oatmeal.

Raw Carrots

Eating some shredded raw carrots with honey can also be very helpful in treating pinworms. Use this remedy two times daily, once at bedtime and once early in the morning on an empty stomach.

Coconut Milk with Castor Oil

Consume one tbsp. of coconut milk once daily, just after breakfast. After 3 hours, take one tsp. of castor oil. Use this remedy daily until your body gets rid of pinworms completely.

Wormwood

The active ingredients in wormwood are thujone, isothujone and santonin. All these substances have potent worm killing properties. When you drink 2-3 grams of wormwood mixed in one cup of hot water, it acts on the pinworms and weaken their cell membranes.

It, thus, kills pinworms gradually. You can sip this hot wormwood solution 2-3 times daily, including once early in the morning on an empty stomach.

Grapefruit Seed Extracts

Add ten drops of grapefruit seed extracts in two cups of water and consume it 2-3 times daily. It will kill pinworms and will also help in flushing them out from your body.

Garlic

Garlic can be used in various ways to treat pinworms. To start with, you should consider eating 2-3 cloves of raw garlic everyday. But obviously, not everybody can tolerate the bad taste of raw garlic. In that case, consider adding plenty of garlic in your foods. In addition to that, you can also apply a garlic paste externally.

Prepare a topical paste by grinding 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic. Add a tiny amount of Vaseline to make it smoother. Apply this paste gently on the rectum using a clean cotton ball.

Both the remedies when used together consistently for a week, can be very effective not only in relieving itchiness but also in killing the eggs and helping you to get rid of pinworms completely. While you are using these natural remedies for pinworms, you must also take some precautions.

For example, you should not scratch the itchy areas, as it can spread the infection and other people around you may also get infected with pinworms. You must also maintain good hygiene to get rid of pinworms faster. Include lots of vegetables, grains and fibrous foods in your diet plan.
