Natural Cures For Pyorrhoea

Pyorrhoea is a medical condition that affects the gums. A bacterial infection, that is usually caused due to bad food habits. Stress, improper cleaning, allergy, smoking and drugs are various factors that contribute to the disease. It is a dental problem where in there is inflammation of the gums. The tooth sockets also get inflamed.

The bones around the teeth are also affected. This periodontal disease causes purulent inflammation that loosens the teeth. Pus is often accompanied along with pain in the gums. Pain is caused due to the membrane that covers the root is affected.

Loosening of teeth occurs because, all the areas where a general tooth is supported is usually affected. Teeth become more sensitive to cold and normal chewing also causes severe pain. Bleeding gums, bad breath, inflammation and redness are some of the most common symptoms of the periodontal disease.


Various Cures For Pyorrhoea

Turnip

Turnip juice is found to benefit in treating the gum disease as it is a powerful cleanser. Calcium, iron, sodium and potassium are important minerals found in turnip juice which are essential for the proper formation of bones and teeth. It hardens the exterior walls of the tooth. Thus turnip juice is very effective in treating and preventing cavities.


Carrot

This is one of the most trusted remedies for pyorrhoea. Carrot juice has to be mixed with spinach juice and taken daily. Raw carrots provide nutritional supplements and prevents periodontal disease. Carrot juice is the most preferred remedy for pyorrhoea and should be taken daily. It should be taken once in a day early in the morning.


Orange

After carrots, oranges are considered another best remedy that assists in preventing the periodontal disease. Oranges contain large amounts of vitamin C. The oranges can be rubbed over the teeth and chewed effectively.


Wheat

Wheat is a good remedy for pyorrhoea. Wheat can be taken in the form if Indian breads regularly. The chewing of wheat is an effective exercise for gums and also aids in digestion.Wheat grass juice obtained from the wheat is also used.

It contains magnesium, calcium, potassium, sulphur, sodium and zinc. It improves blood circulation, neutralises the toxins and rejuvenates the body. Wheat grass juice is also known to cure all gum disease as it improves and enhances immunity against infections.


Sage

Sage is a beneficial herb that is used to treat severe gum diseases. Sage leaves can be brewed and the hot decoction or the tincture is taken in the form of mouth wash and gargled.

Rubbing the gums with the leaves of sage on the tooth directly is also effective. Toothpastes that are known to contain sage as one of the components should always be preferred to give th gums the right kinvs of nutrition.


Lime

Lime is a citrus fruit that contains high amounts of citric acid. The fruit is rich in vitamin C. Rubbing a slice of lemon on the teeth helps in strengthening of gums and provides enough care for the tooth. Calcium content is high in this fruit as a result of which it toughens the tooth. Regular use is shown to improve the health of gums.
