Take Fennel Seeds after a Heavy Dinner or a Lunch

Have you ever thought why we are served fennel seeds in a restaurant after our lunch or dinner? Or have you faced a situation when you had gone to a friend’s party and ate a lot. What happens next? You burp or sit back on the couch feeling very heavy. So to avoid gas you can chew on a few pieces of fennel seeds.

This is one of the best known home remedies for treating bloating. If you find it difficult to chew raw seeds you can soak a few seeds in water and drink the water. Your gas will be cured in minutes. This is a tested treatment for any age group.


Ginger and Garlic

Ginger is a well known herb it has many anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger is also very effective for curing a bloated tummy. It helps in improving the production o f bile juice in our body that helps in reducing gas. You need to cut a few pieces of a fresh ginger and chew on it raw. You need to take in the juice.

You can throw out the fleshy matter after wards. You can also add 5 drops of ginger oil in 2-3 tea spoon of carrier oil and rub it on your tummy.Garlic also works in the same way as ginger. So you can take a few pieces of garlic as well for bloating.


A Mixture of Baking Soda and Lemon

This will fizz as expected. You need to prepare a mixture by adding a few drops of lemon to baking soda. Keep on adding baking soda until all the fizz goes out. Then you need to add cold water to fully dissolve the baking soda. Drink the mixture slowly. This will ease out the gas.


Cleanse Your Colon

Your tummy gets bloated when there is excess food in it and it is not completely digested. So the best way would be to get rid of this excess undigested food product. You can go to the toilet if you feel bloated. This will not only cleanse your colon but will also definitely reduce the gas.


Turmeric and Water Mixture

You can prepare a mixture using a pinch of turmeric powder and water. Drink it slowly to cure your bloating problem.


Take Antacid Tablets

There are many antacid tablets available in our home such as Digene etc that are effective against bloating. You can chew a piece of Digene if you feel tummy heavy or bloated. This is an old remedy that has been practiced since our childhoods.
