2. Antiseptic Ointment

Certain ointments can really be useful in giving you relief from the pain. Ointments that contain calendula extracts can be useful. Apply the ointment on the blisters at least two times on a daily basis to get relief from the pain.

Also ointments that contain the compound capsaicin can be beneficial as these block any kind of pain signals thereby giving you relief from the severe pain of the blisters.

3. Cold Pack

Shingles is associated with blisters and that can be very painful. Applying a cold pack can give you relief from the pain. You can also wrap that area with a towel and pour chilled water from the top to get relief.

Continue this process for about twenty to thirty minutes and do not disturb the area for the next twenty minutes. You can also try cold milk compress to reduce the pain associated with blisters.

4. Baking Soda And Water

This can be used as a compress. Take a bowl of water and add a pinch of baking soda. Use this mixture as a natural cold compress to get relief from the pain.

Apple cider vinegar can be found in everyone’s kitchen and is a very effective natural treatment for shingles. Take a bowl and add apple cider vinegar and mix it with water in the ratio 1:4.Take a cotton ball and soak it in apple cider vinegar. Rub this cotton ball on the blisters to get relief from the pain. Repeat this procedure six or seven times a day to cure the blisters.
