The problem of alopecia is commonly referred to as “Hair Loss’’. There are various factors such as iron and vitamin deficiency, fungal infection, stress, hormonal imbalance, keratosis, frequent use of hair products containing chemicals, tufted folliculitis, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hereditary disorder, radiation exposure and chemotherapy that may result in this problem. This medical condition can be cured with the use of different natural treatments.
He shou wu is also known as “Polygonum Multiflorum” and “Fo Ti’’.
A person can prepare a natural paste with the use of he shou wu powder and egg white and apply it on the head several times in a week to deal with the problem of hair loss. Frequent consumption of he shou wu tea can also provide the desired results.
A person can apply a mixture of crushed fenugreek seeds and olive oil on the scalp for 30 to 40 minutes multiple times in a week. Regular application of a paste made by blending fenugreek seeds and cooked black beans on the hair roots can also help in the treatment. The fenugreek seed powder can be mixed with yogurt and rubbed on the head to get effective results. Another alternative is to massage the scalp with the mixture of crushed fenugreek seeds and virgin coconut oil.
Aloe vera gel can be applied on the head and removed with cold water after 3 to 4 hours to treat the problem of alopecia. Application of a mixture of aloe vera gel and castor/olive oil can improve the hair growth.
A natural paste created by mixing aloe vera gel, yogurt, coconut milk and honey can be applied on the scalp on a daily basis for 20 to 30 minutes to prevent the problem. Daily intake of aloe vera juice is also recommended.
A person can boil margosa leaves in water. The strained mixture can be used to wash hair on a daily basis. Application of a paste created by mixing margosa powder, grinded arhar pulse and water on the head can help in reducing the problem. Margosa oil can be diluted with olive oil and massaged on the hair roots multiple times in a week. It is advisable to remove this mixture with warm water after 15 to 20 minutes.
Tea tree oil can be diluted with avocado oil and used to massage the scalp on a frequent basis to promote hair growth. Tea tree oil can also be added to a shampoo or hair mask to enhance its effectiveness.
A person can massage the scalp with safflower oil for 20 to 30 minutes on a daily basis to increase the flow of blood to the head and stimulate hair growth. Safflower oil can be mixed with olive/castor oil and applied on the head on a frequent basis to get the desired results.
Consumption of ginkgo biloba extract several times in a day can help in reducing the problem of alopecia by providing natural nutrients to the hair. Ginkgo biloba should be taken after consulting a doctor.
