Water

Water can be used as a natural mouthwash. You can rinse your mouth with water for a period of 20 to 30 seconds to remove the food particles.

This natural treatment can help in keeping your breath fresh. Intake of water on a regular basis can help in flushing out the bacteria from the mouth and prevent the problem of bad breath.


Baking Soda

One of the most effective natural treatments for dealing with the problem is baking soda. You can add baking soda to your toothpaste and brush your teeth with this mixture to obtain highly effective results within a short span of time.


Low Fat Cheese

You can consume low fat cheese to fight plaque and reduce bad breath. It is essential to avoid the consumption of cottage cheese as it can aggravate the problem.


Lemon Water

Lemon water can also be used to get relief. You can prepare a mouthwash by mixing lemon juice with water. This mixture can be used for gargling multiple times on a daily basis to treat the symptoms.


Green Tea

Green tea contains polyphenols which can control the growth of bacteria in the mouth. Intake of green tea early in the morning can help in reducing bad breath.


Avocado

The problem of bad breath can be caused by intestinal decomposition. Regular intake of avocado can help in dealing with this problem.


Apple Cider Vinegar

 

You can take apple cider vinegar (1 tablespoon) before or after each meal to improve digestion and reduce the occurrence of bad breath.

A mixture of apple cider vinegar and water can also be taken. Another option is to gargle with a mixture of vinegar (half tablespoon) and water for 10 to 15 seconds after each meal.


Fenugreek Tea

You can consume a cup of fenugreek tea 2 to 3 times on a daily basis. This tea is made by boiling fenugreek seeds (1 teaspoon) in water for 15 to 20 minutes.


Juice

Intake of fresh fruit or vegetable juice can also help in controlling the growth of bacteria resulting in bad breath. It is advisable to consume fresh juice extracted from green vegetables on a regular basis.


Oral Hygiene

Oral hygiene can play a critical role in the treatment. It is advisable to brush atleast 2 times on a daily basis. You can use your toothbrush to clean your tongue on a regular basis to get relief from the problem.


Fennel Leaves

You can chew fresh fennel leaves 3 to 4 times on a daily basis to reduce the bad breath. Another option is to rub fennel extract on the gums and tongue.
