8 Treatments For Eczema on Face

Share

Eczema on the face is a common skin condition. It is caused by factors such as allergic reaction, changes in temperature, stress and respiratory infection.

Symptoms of this medical condition include dryness, redness, itching, blisters and lesions, scaly rashes and crusting. You can use different types of natural treatments to cure the problem.

Natural Treatments for Eczema on Face

Coconut Oil

You can apply coconut oil on the face on a daily basis to reduce the dryness, redness and itching associated with the problem. A mixture of virgin coconut oil and raw honey can also be applied on the blisters to get the desired results.

Aloe Vera

Frequent application of aloe vera gel on the lesions can alleviate dryness and redness. A natural paste made by mixing aloe vera gel and apple juice can be applied on the affected parts of the face to treat the problem. You can drink aloe vera juice several times in a day to obtain relief.

Chamomile

Chamomile is anti-inflammatory in nature. Consumption of chamomile tea can cure the skin condition. Wet chamomile tea bags can be placed on the affected area to relieve the itching. You can also apply chamomile oil on the blisters multiple times on a weekly basis to get effective results.

Avocado

A natural face mask made by mixing mashed avocado and olive/jojoba oil can be applied on the lesions to treat various symptoms associated with the problem. You should remove this mask after 15 to 20 minutes of the application.

Rose Water

You can soak a cotton swab in rose water and apply it on the affected area on a frequent basis to reduce the symptoms within a reasonable period of time. Application of a mixture of rose water, sandalwood powder and camphor can also help in the treatment.

Lemon

Lemon has antiseptic properties. A mixture made with the use of lemon juice and sugar can be applied on the lesions with the help of a cotton ball to relieve the itching and crusting caused by the problem.

You can apply a combination of lemon juice and olive oil on the face to get effective results. Another alternative is to apply a mixture of lemon juice and coconut oil. Lemon juice diluted with water can be taken on a daily basis.

Cucumber

You can boil chopped cucumber pieces in water for 15 minutes. The strained water can be applied on the blisters to reduce the inflammation. Application of chilled cucumber slices can also help in the treatment.

A natural paste made by mixing grated cucumber, corn flour, fine clay, skimmed milk powder and essential oil can be applied on the face and removed after 10 to 15 minutes with warm water to get relief from the symptoms.

Turmeric

Application of a paste made with the use of turmeric powder and olive oil can reduce the itching, dryness and redness. Turmeric powder can be mixed with sugarcane juice and applied on the face to get the desired results. Another option is to drink tea containing turmeric powder multiple times in a week.
