Vitamin-D can be obtained by exposing the body to sunlight at least for 15 minutes per week. This practice will make the body obtain Vitamin-D from the ultraviolet rays of the sun that will activate the creation of necessary vitamins in the skin.


Green Tea

Green tea is the well-known and efficient home remedy to treat gingivitis. It also acts as an alternative medicine to heal the disease. Put some green tea leaves in a cup with pure water and allow it to boil for 15 minutes.

Then, filter the solution and allow it cool. Once the solution is cooled strain it thoroughly and apply the solution to the infected gum and teeth with a toothbrush. This will offer a great relief from the pain.


Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that is naturally secreted into the body of the humans. Brush the teeth with a toothpaste that contains Coenzyme Q10 two times a day gently that will increase the secretion of Coenzyme Q10 in the body, which controls the gingivitis to a great extent. A toothpaste, which is rich in tree tea oil can also be used to treat gingivitis.


Cranberry Juice

Cranberry juice is one of the natural home remedies for gingivitis. It stops germs from sticking to the teeth of a person and decreases the growth of bacteria from the teeth.

Drinking a cup of Cranberry juice alone without sugar two times a day will provide optimum results.


Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is the most excellent and effective home remedy to heal gingivitis. Add a few drops of peppermint oil with warm water. Then, swish the mixture in the mouth two times a day to minimize gum irritation caused by gingivitis.


Triphala Decoction

Triphala decoction is one of the home remedies to treat gingivitis. Prepare a ground mixture that contains one part myrrh powder, two parts white oak bark powder, one-eighth part clove powder and three-fourth part peppermint leaves powder.

Rub one teaspoon of the mixture on the infected area while brushing the teeth. Then, gargle it with water, and spit out. This will provide great relief.
