Olive oil is useful in the treatment of tendonitis. Massaging the affected area using olive oil would be helpful in reducing inflammation and pain associated with tendonitis. Massaging the warm olive oil over the affected area for several minutes would be recommended.
This remedy provides a soothing effect and helps in stimulating the flow of blood. One can also use mustard oil or sesame oil in place of olive oil. The oils can be used for massaging purpose.
Epsom salt is beneficial in the treatment of tendonitis. It can be used along with water. To prepare the remedy, take two tablespoons of Epsom salt and add them in warm water. Stir the solution properly and let the salt dissolve in the water properly.

Using cold and hot vinegar wraps alternatively would be beneficial. To use vinegar for treating tendonitis, take vinegar and water in equal amount. Boil the mixture.
Soak towel in this mixture and wrap it around the affected area for around five to ten minutes. Take vinegar and cold water. Now soak the towel in this cold solution. Application of this towel for around five to ten minutes is beneficial. Repeating this remedy three times on a daily basis is recommended. Afterwards, one can apply moisturizer over the skin.
Flour is helpful for the treatment of symptoms associated with tendonitis. To prepare the remedy, take two tablespoons of flour and add some amount of white wine in it to prepare a paste. Application of this paste over the affected area would be recommended.
Leave as such for about an hour and then rinse the affected area with water. Continuing this remedy on a daily basis would provide a healing effect on the affected area.
Carbonated water is useful for the patients suffering from tendonitis. It helps in reducing the acute pain associated with tendonitis. Soak the affected feet in carbonated water for around ten to fifteen minutes. Continue using this remedy one to two times on a daily basis. This remedy is effective in treating inflammation as well as pain caused due to tendonitis.
Consumption of flavoured carbonated water several times on a daily basis is recommended. It is beneficial for the patients as it does not have preservatives, sugar and calories that may not be good for the health of patients. It tastes good and helps in refreshing the body.
Chickweed is helpful for the patients suffering from tendonitis. It contains vitamin and minerals that are helpful for reducing the symptoms associated with tendonitis. The medicinal herb can be used in the form of paste. Application of this paste over the affected area would be helpful.
After application, leave as such and wash the affected area with water. Tea prepared from this herb has been found to be beneficial for treating tendonitis. Continue using this herbal tea several times on a daily basis. It would help in providing relief from the pain associated with tendonitis.
