Home remedies can be used for the treatment of male yeast infection, which are inexpensive and effective as well. These are easily available at home. Consumption of beer in excessive amount is considered to one of the major reasons behind male yeast infection.  Other causes include weak immune system, unhealthy diet, taking excessive amount of antibiotics and eating too much sugar etc. Symptoms associated with male yeast infection include redness, itchiness, burning sensation, pain, white discharge and blisters etc.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is beneficial for the treatment of male yeast infection. Fatty acids contained in coconut oil are effective in treating the yeast infection quickly. Consumption of one tablespoon of coconut oil before each meal is recommended on a daily basis.

Consumption of coconut milk on a daily basis is also beneficial. It can also be used for external medication. Application of coconut oil over the affected area would be helpful.


Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is useful for treating male yeast infection. It has beneficial properties helpful for fighting against infection caused due to yeast. It can be diluted first and then applied over the affected area. The oil can also be used by mixing it with almond oil or olive oil.

Take few drops of tea tree oil and mix them with one tablespoon of almond oil or olive oil. Application of the oil mixture over the affected area using a cotton ball would be recommended. This remedy would be helpful in reducing swelling and inflammation associated with male yeast infection.


Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is helpful for the treatment of male yeast infection. It can be used in the form of gel. It has a number of beneficial properties that are helpful in fighting against inflammation caused due to yeast infection.

This remedy is also useful in preventing infection in the future. Application of gel form of aloe vera over the affected area would be beneficial.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is beneficial for the patients suffering from yeast infection. It can be taken in raw form. Take one cup of apple cider vinegar and add it in warm bath water. Sitting in this bath tub would provide relief from the symptoms of yeast infection.

Make sure not to apply apple cider vinegar directly over the affected area as it is considered to be very strong. One should also not use talcs or scented soaps over the area affected with yeast infection.


Honey

Honey is one of the home remedies helpful for treating male yeast infection. It helps in restoring the balance of pH in the body. Application of honey over the affected area for around twenty minutes would be beneficial.

Continue using this remedy two times on a daily basis. After application of honey, patients should take bath. It is considered to be a very effective remedy to cure the symptoms of male yeast infection.


Garlic

Garlic is useful in the treatment of male yeast infection. It has beneficial properties helpful for fighting against bacteria and fungi responsible for causing infection. It has been found to be an effective remedy for treating infection and quick method to recover as well. Consumption of cloves of garlic along with warm water on a daily basis is recommended.

Chopped form of garlic can also be consumed along with a glass of milk on a daily basis. It can also be taken in the form of paste. Consumption of garlic paste along with meals on a regular basis is recommended. Application of juice or garlic oil over the affected area is also helpful.


Lemon

Lemon is useful for the patients suffering from male yeast infection. Juice prepared from lemon has been found to be beneficial. It contains vitamin C which is helpful for restoring the pH.

To use lemon juice for treating male yeast infection, take two tablespoons of lemon juice and add them in quart of warm water. Soaking the affected area in this solution would be recommended. Restoring the pH would help in reducing the symptoms of yeast infection.


Oregano Oil And Cranberry

Oregano oil is one of the natural remedies for treating male yeast infection. Carvacrol contained in oregano oil would be helpful for treating the infection. It can be mixed along with olive oil, coconut oil or water. Application of this oil mixture over the affected area would be recommended.

Cranberry is effective in treating the symptoms associated with male yeast infection. Juice prepared from cranberry herb has medicinal properties. It also helps in preventing the infection that may be caused due to bladder infection.

Consumption of juice extracted from cranberry herb two times on a daily basis is recommended. Continue using this remedy until the symptoms disappear. This remedy also helps in restoring the level of acidophilus bacteria.


Yogurt

Yogurt is beneficial in the treatment of male yeast infection. It can be used for external and internal medication. Lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria contained in yogurt would help in decreasing the population of yeast.

Consumption of yogurt without containing sugar on a daily basis is recommended. Patients who are lactose intolerant can take acidophilus pills. Application of yogurt over the affected area would be recommended.


Boric Acid

Boric acid is helpful for the patients suffering from male yeast infection. It can be taken in the form of capsules. It is considered to be a safe and effective remedy in treating male yeast infection.

Capsules of boric acid can be used for topical medication one time on a weekly basis. One should consult the doctor before using this remedy. Pregnant women should avoid using this remedy.
