Lobelia

Lobelia is beneficial for the patients suffering from asthma attack. It is an Indian tobacco that helps in treating acute attacks. It is available in the form of tincture that can be used along with capsicum. Take three parts of lobelia tincture and mix in one part of capsicum.

Adding twenty drops of this mixture in water would be helpful for treating asthma attack. Using this remedy after every three to four minutes is recommended.


Water, Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Water is helpful for the treatment of asthma attack. Consumption of water in excessive amount would be beneficial. It is always better to drink plenty of water on a daily basis.

Omega 3 fatty acids are useful in the treatment of asthma attack. Patients should increase the consumption of omega 3 fatty acids.


Onion

Onion is helpful for the treatment of asthma attack. It has anti-inflammatory properties that are helpful to reduce constriction of airways. It contains sulphur which is helpful for fighting against the inflammation caused due to asthma attack.

Take one teaspoon of honey and add it in one glass of hot water. Consumption of this drink at least three times on a daily basis is recommended.

Another remedy for using honey is to mix it with cinnamon powder. Take one teaspoon of honey and add it in one teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Consumption of this mixture before going to sleep is recommended. It helps in removing phlegm from the throat.


Salmon

Salmon is helpful for the treatment of asthma attack. It contains essential fatty acids in high amount. This natural cure helps in providing relief during asthma attack. Inflammation associated with asthma is also reduced using this natural remedy.

Also, it helps in reducing the airways getting narrowed. Fishes like tuna, cod, mackerel and sardines can also be consumed along with salmon as they also contain essential fatty acids. One can also use salmon in the form of oil if it is not available in raw form.


Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus is useful in the treatment of asthma attack. Take few drops of eucalyptus oil and put them in a paper towel. Keeping this paper by the side of head during sleep is recommended. Inhaling the eucalyptus oil is beneficial for the patients as it helps in reducing the symptoms associated with asthma attack.

Another method of using eucalyptus oil is to take two to three drops of eucalyptus oil and add them in a bowl containing hot water. Inhaling this steam would be beneficial for the patients.


Garlic

Garlic is beneficial for the patients suffering from asthma attack. Take ten to fifteen garlic cloves and add them in half cup of milk. Boil this mixture and allow it to cold down to room temperature. Tea prepared from garlic is helpful for the treatment of asthma attack.

To prepare this tea, take two to three garlic cloves and add them in one pot of hot water. Soak the cloves for around five minutes. This natural remedy is helpful in providing relief from congestion as well.


Mustard Oil

Mustard oil is helpful for the treatment of asthma attack. Take some mustard oil and mix it in some camphor. Application of this mixture at the back of chest for massaging purpose is recommended. One should massage the oil mixture gently without putting much pressure over the back.

This natural cure helps in clearing out the respiratory passage. Continue using this remedy a number of times in a day. This would provide relief from the symptoms associated with asthma attack.


Coffee

Coffee is useful in the treatment of asthma attack. Consumption of hot cup of coffee without milk would be beneficial. It can be taken on a regular basis. Make sure not to consume it in excessive amount.

Consumption of more than three cups of coffee per day is not good for the patients. One can use a hot cup of black tea if one does not like coffee. This natural cure helps in clearing as well as relaxing the airways to make the breathing process easy.

Take one inch ginger, cut it into pieces and add the pieces in pot containing boiled water. Soak the ginger pieces in it for around five minutes. Allow it to cool for a while and consume it afterwards. Ginger can also be eaten in raw form by adding salt over it.

Juice extracted from ginger is also found to be beneficial. Take one teaspoon of ginger juice and mix it in one teaspoon of honey. Add this mixture in two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds which are soaked in water for the whole night. Consumption of this solution during the morning as well as during evening helps in removing the toxic materials out of the lungs.
