Take one teaspoon of this onion juice and add one teaspoon of honey in it. Mix both the ingredients well and leave as such for four to five hours. This onion syrup can be taken two times per day for better results.


Turmeric & Almond

Turmeric is beneficial for the treatment of wet cough. Take one pinch of turmeric in powdered form and mix it with one tablespoon of honey. Consumption of this mixture three times per day is recommended. This natural cure helps in providing relief from cold in one or two days.

Almond is useful for treating wet cough. Take seven to eight almonds and soak them in kernel for overnight. Peel them and prepare a paste by grinding them. Add butter as well as twenty grams of sugar in the paste. Consumption of this paste two times per day is recommended. It has been found to be a very good remedy for the treatment of wet cough.


Salt Water

Salt Water is useful for the patients suffering from wet cough. It can be used for gargling purpose. Gargling with salt water helps in soothing the throat. It is helpful in thinning out the secretions as well.

Take one teaspoon of salt and mix it with a pinch of baking soda. Add this mixture in a cup of water. Stir the mixture and gargle with it several times. Make sure not to expose yourself in cold weather.

Another remedy for using honey is to take half teaspoon of honey and heat it. Add one pinch of turmeric in it. Let it cool first and then give this mixture to a child suffering from wet cough.


Thyme

Thyme is useful for the patients suffering from wet cough. This remedy helps in loosening the phlegm and reducing congestion problem. Elecampane
