Toner can be prepared using the natural herbs and is helpful for improving the skin. It helps in soothing and nourishing the skin. This toner can also be used as aftershave by men. To prepare this toner, add two ounces of aloe vera gel and two ounces of orange blossom water.
In this mixture, add one tablespoon of wine vinegar, 800 UI of vitamin E oil, one drop of chamomile oil, four drops of sandalwood oil and six drops of rose geranium oil.
Take one ounce of almond oil and add two drops of geranium oil. Add 1000 UI of vitamin E in the mixture. Properly mix all these ingredients and apply this mixture inside and outside the vagina two times per day. This remedy is useful for the treatment of menopause.
Black cohosh is helpful for the treatment of menopause. Consuming one to two caps of forty milligrams of the herb two times per day is recommended. It is beneficial for reducing night sweats and hot flashes which are the symptoms related to menopause.
It is helpful in reducing mental and physical pain. It is useful in producing the chemicals in the brain which are called endorphins. Exercise is helpful in the treatment of mood swings. Doing moderate exercise is also useful in reducing the menopausal irritability. Exercise is beneficial in reducing depression and anxiousness.
Involving soy in the diet is beneficial for the patients suffering from menopause. It contains phyto estrogens that have beneficial properties. Do not exceed the recommended amount as eating too much soy would not be helpful for providing relief from menopause for a longer period of time.
One should switch to decaf rather than taking caffeine. Alcohol is not beneficial for the patients suffering from menopause. It has sedative properties and should be avoided.
Consuming milk is beneficial for the treatment of menopause. Consuming one glass of warm milk would be effective. Milk can also be consumed by adding it in the herbal tea. It contains an amino acid named tryptophan which acts as a natural sedative and is helpful for the patients suffering from menopause.
Vitamin E is beneficial for the patients suffering from menopause. Consuming 400 IUs of vitamin E on a daily basis is recommended. It is helpful in reducing hot flash which is one of the symptoms associated with menopause.
Consuming twelve hundred to fifteen hundred milligrams of calcium on a daily basis is recommended to the women who are above the age of 50. Calcium fortified orange juice, milk, yogurt, cereals and collard greens are some of the sources of calcium.
